dangerous pair of strikers? They've won 3 games in 2017 against 3 teams that will probably go down, Southport, Torquay and north Ferriby He's referring to Bromley's strikers! But an interesting comparison, given the similar records of both clubs in 2017.

Sho Silva looked a good striker at the Deva with pace. I'm sure I read that a few league clubs were looking at him. Turgott is a competent striker at this level.

Decent performance today in some poor conditions, very windy and a shocking pitch. Game had 0-0 written all over it but if one team was going to win it was always going to be us. Great to hear the fans singing for McCarthy today. Where are all you moaners tonight? Up to blues!!!

Dire game, not helped by the wind and an appalling pitch. Will give our lads the benefit of the doubt having to play on a ploughed field and poetic justice when Durrell's low shot seemed to hit a divot and bounce over the diving keeper. Just the type of horrible win we needed desperately - surely now we are almost safe. All the results went our way today and there's a nine point gap to bottom 4. Not many stand out performances - Lynch probably MoM if only for a stunning save late in the second half when they were getting on top. Hughes looked a class above anyone else on the pitch -only one who seemed to be able to control the ball and pass to a blue shirt. Astles was solid and had clearly decided to put his boot though everything. Not sure why Hughes went off - no obvious injury. Showed very little up front - Richards was no better than average and Alabi had a quiet game. Only other chance of note was a Shaw shot cleared off the line in the first half. Bromley were awful but feared the worst before Durrell's late winner.

Don't know about Hunt but J M said after the game that Sam Hughes started with a slight knock and was struggling later on so substituted

Give him a break .... he's only 14. He may be but that doesn't give him licence to call other fans idiots, most of whom will have given much more to this club than he may ever do. If he is going to abuse fans he must expect a response. A bit of respect wouldn't go amiss. Just because you put a lot into the club doesn't make you immune from criticism. Rightly calling out those who said we would go down as they couldn't see us getting another point is fine. That opinion was idiotic and they have been proven wrong today.

Great stuff. The Hughes and Astles combo doing the business again against a very dangerous pair of strikers. No you t** because Sam went off injured after moving to right back at the start of the second half and I'm pretty sure when Sam and Astles were centre half it was 0 - 0 and then when Blaine and Astles finished there it was 0 - 0! Complete joker Arrogant Blue! Hopefully Hudson's farewell parting gift to CFC, a clean sheet for once with him playing! Keep the abuse coming it's hilarious as much as it's pathetic!

If he is going to abuse fans he must expect a response. A bit of respect wouldn't go amiss. Respect for who? Sensationalist attention seekers who thrive in the club's failings? Why is his age even remotely relevant? He's called people out for demanding the managers head and claiming we're going down. Those people are right to be called idiotic, they've acted embarrasingly. Well done blues on an excellent result.

They are referred to ( sometimes in a derogatory way ) as' Happy Clappers' by the other group who see themselves as only wanting what's best for the Club, deserving better - a bit like the above post - but fail to realise that constant sniping and negativity is corrosive and eats away at the very structure of the Club, it's Management and Players, plus so many other less enamoured fans who just think - sod it and then lose interest altogether!! Did you watch how 'together ' the Management, Players, Fans and wider Community were at Lincoln when they went on their dream FACup run ? Lessons to be learnt for all of us ..... Reality is with our money, as a Fan Owned Club, we are punching above our weight - we're not perfect, Management not beyond criticism in my book and fans need to get more actively involved on the other forum - CFU meetings - where you can ask appropriate questions or direct your criticism to the people concerned not just mouth off on social media. More togetherness is needed with principally just one type of fan - a Chester FC fan, simple ! A bit of extra dosh spent wisely would make such a difference so the Youth Academy is vital for the future but in the meantime ...what was it Bob Grey said about a cup run ...maybe he was right ...look at Sutton and Lincoln. Let's give the lads in blue our support even when things get tough - COYB
