It will be a tricky game at Hayes Lane tomorrow and if he puts Astles and Hughes together in a 4-4-2 we might have a chance of sneaking one there. Good luck to the blues who are going to Kent tomorrow. Score: Bromley 1-2 Chester FC (Alabi 2) Attendance: 1,163 (109 Chester)

We lost 3-0 there last season so will lose again, Which idiots have voted for a win? How bloody naive. I've been supporting Chester since 1960 but won't be wasting my time going to games we are going to lose. I could have gone to this one but I'm going to Stonehenge with my cousin who I haven't seen for six months.

Hope for a win; after a day on the trains getting there. Hopefully have a full strength back four for this one will help. 2 nil if so; 2-2 if we play the back three again.
Att. 1050 Goals. Alabi, Hughes

Can't get to this game, but remain optimistic we can get a win. I know there are a lot who seem to have given up hope on ever winning again, but this sort of run for Chester is a bit like an England middle order batting collapse. Annoyingly unexplainable and too frequent. Been here before though.
Wish the lads and supporters making the journey well and hopefully all rewarded with a 3-1 win. 😀

I predict a 2-1 defeat and McCarthy to come out with his usual bollocks.

Seriously though - who has voted for a win? Love the blind optimism (although you never know...)

Can't see better than a point with confidence low, leaky defence etc so going for a 1-1 draw which on current form would feel like three points

Bromley 1-2 Chester (Alabi, Dawson, 102 Blues). Feeling strangely optimistic to make the journey down for this one. Chester Till I Die!!

Unfortunately John is incapable of seeing the blatantly obvious. Nice man yes, but nightmare as a professional football manager, and given the reported ludicrous contract offers for some of the dross in the team spells utter disaster for next season. Defeat written all over for the Bromley game I am afraid, and quite frankly relegation form at this end of the season only ends in relegation without significant change, which usually follows the removal of the manager. Sound familiar. Why on earth did we offer him an extended contract before we first got to 52 points? I would be very grateful if Alan could explain the reasoning for his contract extension so early in the season. Absolutely fed up season ticket holder, who will, without any doubt will still be in the same seat next season!

Thanks for your concern but perhaps you should concentrate on your own club, who were quite happy to take the money from Mr Rushe. Nice bar btw.

Don't wanna limit free speech but me and the 2 other mods do keep an eye on Goat trolls and remove anything necessary. 👍

I've forgotten what Bromley were like at the Deva. Other than blind faith how do you feel we can result in this one ?

We were poor that day but got a point. Hopefully they will have issues of their own and under estimate us 😬

Going for a 0-1 win for the Blues with Tom Shaw sneaking a late winner! Much happier being "blindly optimistic" than "blindly pessimistic". And a supporter since the 50's. And not an idiot. COYB!!!!
