Do you think people should be allowed back in to football matches, I'm sure I saw you bought a season ticket,It may sound like I am generalising, but how hard is it to look after yourself. Any one who says they don't understand the rules is making an excuse to break them

Any one who says they don't understand the rules is making an excuse to break them Sorry for financially supporting the club during these worrying times. I’d like the club to still exist for me and my children whenever we are past all this. Also, “CALLING ALL YOUNG PEOPLE: EAT OUT TO HELP OUT!” .... “young people going out are to blame for the rise in cases.” You’re saying these aren’t mixed messages?

I see yesterday UK tested 254 thousand New Zealand tested 5597 Uk tests to date 23 million Newzealand tests to date 992 thousand Not a brilliant comparison What’s the point in testing when the tracing part is totally inadequate? Quite revealing statistic from Sky News who report that Local health protection teams were much more successful in reaching close contacts, getting hold of 97.1%, compared to the risible 68.6% achieved by Serco / Deloitte. Alas I can’t see the Tories handing over control to Local Authorities and public health bodies, at least not while there is still money to be made for their dodgy mates.

Not everyone has a grubby Tory attitude of ‘what’s in it for me?’.

Don't apologise, I would have done exactly the same I have had a season ticket for years, this year due to my daughters cancer treatment I would not risk going anywhere crowded for fear of bringing covid home. I support them financially and will buy streaming tickets. Meanwhile I'll keep my distance sanitize my hands and wear a face covering and keep out of pubs

Just saying small country easy to handle over populated country full of people who don't care not easy to handle. It's running wild everywhere not just here A generalisation to say people don’t care. What about “Eat Out To Help Out?” - it appears the government are now laying the blame at everybody who took up their own advice and ate out to prioritise the economy over peoples lives. Some people don't care, the ones that sit in there brothers bathroom to watch a football match in the middle of a local lockdown.

Force a nationwide lockdown in March and see deaths rise to 900 on some days. Deaths go down, end the lockdown, open hospitality venues and positive tests + deaths stay relatively low. Open schools and universities and positive tests shoot through the roof.
It's mainly young people now being tested who test positive but are far less likely to have a severe case (due to age), meaning deaths do not rise as they did in March - June. Shut schools and universities and people testing positive and dying will drop again.
Not rocket science.

Shame government isn’t listening.

I see yesterday UK tested 254 thousand New Zealand tested 5597 Uk tests to date 23 million Newzealand tests to date 992 thousand Not a brilliant comparison Just to give you a little helping hand, this is why we have something called deaths per capita. Death per capita data allows for the comparison of countries with differing populations and sizes. And what that data shows is that in New Zealand, for every 100,000 people, 0.51 people are dying of Covid. In the UK, for every 100,000 people, 63.9 people are dying. How's that for a comparison, chief?

newzealand has a population density of 15 people per sq kilometer
uk population density of 275 people per sq kilometer
england has a population density of 432 people per sq kilometer
maybe easier to contain with all that space

Why don't we change the countries up then so they can better reflect your latest attempt at deflection? Vietnam: Population density: 308 people per square kilometer Covid deaths per 100,000: 0.04 Japan:Population density: 347 people per square kilometer Covid deaths per 100,000: 1.26 UK:Population density: 275 people per square kilometer Covid deaths per 100,000: 63.9 Are you not embarrassed or ashamed to be defending this? I mean, I suppose it must be quite difficult to come to terms with being responsible for voting for the unnecessary deaths of so many of your fellow countrymen and women.

Didn’t you once claim London had 9 million people per square mile?

Yet none of you can tell us how Labour would have dealt with it Any Administration that prioritised saving lives over turning a profit for their mates would have done a better job. This week the Government claimed that 30% of U.K. Coronavirus cases are spread through pubs and restaurants but the ‘world beating’ U.K. contact tracing app, despite registering 1.5 million check-ins, has sent out just one (ONE!!!) alert about an outbreak in a venue. Appreciate all you Tory boys trying to deflect the blame for the carnage, but you voted for it, so own it.
