Another tough game tomorrow in the Cotswolds. If we put on a similar performance to Tuesday we could nick it especially with the fact that North Ferriby beat FGR away. I'm excited for this one, should be a good day out and another ground ticked off my list. Who else is coming on the Hipkiss? Up The Seals!! Score: Forest Green Rovers 0-1 Chester FC (Alabi) Attendance: 1,740 (256 Chester) COYB!

I'll go for a 1-1 with Durrell free kick for us.

First away game of the season for me, which is pretty pathetic!
Forest Green are a team capable of losing to anyone, but are also capable of running riot. I'll go for somewhere in the middle with a respectable 2-1 defeat.

I was pleased to be proven wrong with the Lincoln result and performance, although the outcome was still the same. Lincoln and FGR are the best teams I have seen this season and light years ahead of us. All be it on far bigger budgets than us. I can't see anything other than defeat. It's bad times when a 1-0 defeat leads to something of a celebration but again, I'd see that as something of a result.

Is it nine straight defeats against them? Sadly another defeat . . . maybe narrow again. Surely be over 2,000 there on a Bank Holiday?

I would have thought that even Rio would accept that we're never going to beat FGR.
Your predicting a win is completely gaga land I'm afraid and you can't be taken seriously, but because of your youth I won't mention it.

I phoned the club today and the coach leaves at 9:15 not 8:00 as stated and the fare is £20. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

0-0 prediction from me. Never predict a defeat.
I am used to the despair following Chester since 75, what hurts about this season was the hope the autumn results brought.....

Very little chance of a win here. We'll probably play OK but still get nothing.

McCarthy sees these lot as the Manchester City of the Conference. He will have rolled over before the game has begun, just like he did for the Trophy match. 3-0 FGR is my take. I'll go with a Wade Joyce assist for the first, having gamely held out for half an hour with our backs to the wall.

According to SkyBet we're 15/2 to win, 19/5 to draw Probably a fair reflection of our chances but I live in hope
Can't see where goals will come from for us and also depends on which FGR turn up (see NFU) so I'm going optimistically for 0-0 with attendance of 1450 (125 blues)

Looking forward to this..rare trip to see a game...about third this season...relatively local (1 hour drive)
FGR haven't been playing well but did well to beat Tranmere away despite being second best apparently. A lot will depend on our attitude-confidence or fear? Do we have anything to lose, whereas they certainly do. Forever hopeful, we will turn up with a positive attitude and win 1-0.
