I take it this £10m is the £10m the Government promised dressed up in a different way (i.e. it's not an additional £10m to the £10m the Government promised).
If so, I see the Govenment get all the credit for providing a bailout and then give the bill to the Lottery !

Does this mean all clubs receive the same amount ie £10 million divided by 66 is about £150,000 each?

You’d imagine Notts County will receive a bigger slice of the pie than Curzon

Welcome news. Genuine question, how far will this get clubs? Keeping wolves from the door undoubtedly, but does anyone what amount clubs are losing ( most particularly us )?

Well our Chairman wrote in his programme notes for the first home game of the season last weekend: “Should this (bailout) not be forthcoming then even with income from matchday streaming it would be unlikely we could continue to operate beyond New Year.”

Quick back of the envelope calculation. If the £10m is split based solely on attendances for 2019/20 our share should be about £218,000

If the £10m is split based solely on attendances for 2019/20 our share should be about £218,000 l don’t think it will be quite that high as I guess the majority of clubs in the NL will say they’ve got further to travel and need money towards more miles travelled and overnight stays as against NLN/NLS who are much more regionalised. If we were to end up with nearer £175k that would be a start . . . don’t hold your breath!

Non-League News, Facebook & ollie _Bayliss,Twitter: "How the National League funding will be divided:" 🔸"7 National League clubs will receive 95k a month." 🔸"The 16 other clubs get £84k a month." 🔹"5 National North/South clubs will receive 36k a month." 🔹"The 37 other clubs get 30k a month." "Clubs will receive payment next week." So we lose nearly three times the gate money Boring Shite get, we get less than half the funding they do

Boreham Wood average attendance 724 = £84,000 per month
Chester average attendance 2019 = £36,000 per month
How does that work then? Hope the club are fighting this issue.

How are people that work at the National League still in jobs ? Do they turn up at work and constantly make terrible decisions and get a prize at the end of the month for the worst ?

That is an absolute disgrace!
Why ask clubs for detailed figures for what they have lost in matchday income then completely ignore it?
So, Curzon Ashton (av attendance 376) are losing lets say for 2 home games in a month (2 x 376 x say £15 per person) £11,280 and get a £30,000 cheque. We (av attendance 2019) lose 2 games x 2019 x say £15 per person = £60,570 and get a cheque for £36,000
Don't even get me started on Boreham Wood losing 2 x 700 x £15 = £21,000 and getting £84,000.
The whole thing is corrupt.

Saturday’s game becomes more important than ever now. Every penny we earn from progressing in the FA Cup looks precious and we have to hope that we get through and then earn an attractive tie in the first round that will bring in TV money (at least on the Sunday afternoon Final Score programme if we aren’t picked for a live game on the BBC/BT Sport).

I can't help but think that the NL had already decided how to allocate the ££££s and the request for detailed figures was simply a ruse to cover their *rses. Either that or they're just plain incompetent. Or both!
Problem is that whilst the current setup and personnel are in place, nothing will change.

Said it before but the NL are the most clueless lot around. They'd do well to spend some time with the lower, regional leagues who are actually much more efficient and clued up.

Is it true we sold over 500 season tickets. I don't know how many accepted the streaming rather than refunds but we must have quite a proportion of that in the bank. Also did we not build the budget by about £120,000. Are we receiving money for streaming of games if so that plus anything we get from other sources we should be OK. It seems very unfair distribution but all I'm really interested in is that the club is still here and continues to be so.

All the more reason to get out of this tinpot league, at least in the national prem you get some level of respect from the league governors. Well, 1 vote per team is a start!

We really need to kick up a fuss about this, we should get the likes of York, Hereford, Darlington, Dulwich Hamlet and Ebbsfleet to issue a joint statement.
Don’t beat about the bush and pussyfoot around the likes of Boreham Wood - fuck ‘em.

Can only assume that the match wage bill has also been taken into account as obviously higher in National League and full time as well ?
Perhaps someone from the Club can confirm if we had to submit other financial details as well as gate receipts ?

Seems to me as if all the submitted finance figures have just been completely whitewashed.
Need to make a big song and dance about this.

It should be done purely on the money lost from gate receipts, food/drink sales etc, i.e. the money that the no-fans restrictions are causing us to lose. Nothing else should come in to it.
Clubs living beyond their means will be loving this as they will be making more money from it than they would have done if fans were allowed in! Madness, a completely lazy approach from the NL who are becoming more and more incompetent throughout the pandemic. A totally unfair way of distributing the funds, how these clowns are allowed to run a league I don't know.
