Mr Barwick will be very familiar with dysfunctional organisations in football. Didn't he previously work for the F.A., the supposed guardians of the national game ?
Unclear these days who controls how football is run. Is it the Premier League or the F.A. ? It is high time for an independent regulator of football.
It is clear that the National league Board are not the right people to run the National League; there are far too many conflicts of interest.

Can't see anything becoming of this. If it goes to a vote to remove Barwick tje Boreham Woods and the like who stand to make money out of this far outnumber those who lose out. They're not going to vote to have their cut reduced.

Maybe get Marcus Rashford on the case?🙄

The National leagues not fit for purpose. All the've done is rewarded clubs that choose to run unsustainably.

The govt has given sufficient funds via the lottery grant to recompense clubs for their lost income - they're not going to provide any more (and why should they). The faceless 'committee' at the NL have divvied it up in a way to grotesquely advantage certain clubs, and grossly disadvantage others. The aim has to be to keep the pressure on for that to be retified, not let the pressure fade away

Especially as the clubs that have gained most hold the balance of power.

Did anyone who emailed the National League about this ever get a response?

Sky reports that we are one of the clubs calling for Barwick to go. Also that the NL has set up an independent review committee to look at grievances.

Looks like we haven't signed, although the BBC piece talks of nine clubs but the list includes only eight. If we haven't signed it would be good to know why....presumably letting the independent review take its natural course. I'm guessing Notts Co is the ninth

Apparently we are the ninth. Some sources list eight clubs without us, others list nine clubs with us.
