Well it's early, but as i've not started a thread before and although i'm dreading a bad result i'm also hopeful as you need to be being a Chester fan that we can at least put some effort in and get something out of the match. Plus if Akitunde is back whether fit or not, hopefully with a front three of him, durrell and Alabi we will offer a bit more than we have had previously this year. 2-1 to the blues (now i'll just go and run for cover and see what everyone else thinks !)

I'm going to stick to a home win, but it could go either way. I'll be on pins for the whole match hoping we can stop our rot and getting rid of relegation fears. Woking will be fired up, and I wouldn't be surprised if they take all 3 points. I hope Akintunde gets some minutes tomorrow, he looked quite energetic on Friday. FROM THE FIRST MINUTE, GET BEHIND US BECAUSE THE TEAM WILL FEEL IT AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL FIRE THEM UP TO WIN IT FOR US, THE FANS. Score: Chester FC (Durrell, Akintunde) 2-1 Woking. Attendance: 1,677 (73 Woking) COYB!

I was about to start it actually, but I read that Bluebeard had started it 2 minutes before I was going to start it. Oh well, it makes a change from me. Fair play CBB! ππ

Chester 1-2 Woking 1978 143 from Woking. Chester 0 - 2 Woking As much as I want us to stop this rot Woking will be fired up and will be believing they will turn us over. Get beat tomorrow and JM has to go in my book.

Just a few permutations for tomorrow: LINCOLN will get promoted if Tranmere lose to Guiseley and if Lincoln beat Gateshead. CHESTER will stay up if we beat Woking and if other results go our way. TORQUAY will be relegated if the unlikely scenario of Braintree, Solihull, York and Woking winning happens. NORTH FERRIBY will be relegated if they lose or draw. Even if they win and results go against them they will still get relegated.

A heroic one nil win with Astles getting the goal and that Adonis Piercey joining in the celebrations and doing a Ronaldo Champs League final style celebration with the team for the ladies in attendance.

If we win tomorrow we'll be seven points above Woking and at least eight above Torquay with two games to go.

Their goals against stat is awfulβ, surely we can take advantage. OK, they might be up for it but nerves are bound to be a factor for them as well as us so going for a very scrappy 2-1 win to us with 1790 nervous wrecks in attendance

Will be there, would certainly take a draw but am I looking forward to the game? Not really. Know exactly how the game will pan out, we will surrender possession around the half way line, get deeper and deeper as the game goes on leaving (I think anyway) an injured James Alibi more and more isolated. Huge game tomorrow, cannot afford to lose as I think the crowd will turn on the manager and certain players so it's crucial we take at least a point and stop the rot of home defeats.

I think we will win, we are well overdue one.
I think we are safe anyway, but have absolutely no faith in McCarthy for next season. The club need a good think about season ticket deals, as 2017 has hardly been an incentive to buy one.

Scrappy 2-1 win, Alabi and Durrell.
Won't be there as my lad is playing at Notts Co at half time.
Why don't we invite the young lads from the local leagues to play at half-time? U7s and U8s will love it. Gets them aware of the Blues and brings in the parents too.
Provided the swearing and abuse at the club don't take over that is π³

When I went to Solihull and Southport earlier in the season they let young kids play at half-time. P.S good luck to your lad.

1-1 draw, and I'd be relatively happy with that. It sounds very unambitious, but given that we've lost almost every home game this year and how late it is in the season, it would at least keep a four-point gap between ourselves and Woking with two games left. I think we'll stay up even if we lose all three remaining games, but the stress and pressure levels will go up massively. A defeat tomorrow doesn't bear thinking about.

I just hope we name a positive team to set up in a positive manner and have a right good go at them, all this one up front and 3 centre backs rubbish kick it into touch. When we set up defensively at home we end up starting very slowly and allow the visitors to start on the front foot and it's then very hard to pick up the tempo, come on blues I think you owe us one

4-4-2 with players playing in their best positions and we might have a chance, anything else and i think it will be another disjointed performance and a defeat.
Woking seem to have turned things around and will be full of confidence, but if things aren't going to plan for us then we need to try and get behind the players. Woking have also got a good record having won at Chester on their last 3 visits.
I just hope that Lloyd and Shaw are fit enough to to start.
