I’ve zero interest in the goats end of conversation, I am purely here to nudge the woke brigade. I personally thank everyone who works at the club and always have done, I just done believe fan ownership is professional enough to lead this club to where I personally want it to be. But while you continue to use stupid phrases like "the woke brigade" to refer to fellow fans, you come across more as trying to get a bite than making any serious point. Until you stop acting like some alt-right loon on Reddit, you're not going to succeed in "nudging" anyone. Play time, in town now, 6:2 and look like I run 5k 17 min.

It certainly seems a bit strange to use a Donald Trump slogan, and an unsuccessful one at that, to call out our ownership model. He claims he's not a WUM but he's not going to be taken seriously carrying on like that. I’ve zero interest in the goats end of conversation, I am purely here to nudge the woke brigade. I personally thank everyone who works at the club and always have done, I just done believe fan ownership is professional enough to lead this club to where I personally want it to be. Without fan ownership there wouldn't be a club. There are clearly limitations with the model but some of the so called unprofessionals who have been involved in running the club have done a much better job than many of their professional predecessors. Out of interest where do you want the club to be and, more importantly, how do you suggest we get there?

5 years who says that of course you put down a marker I would be happy to be in the league in 2 years and progress from that 25 players 5k a week What you on about Ok i stand corrected. But there are plenty of players on £2k a week in L2/NL. So if you want these players you will have to match them. Unless you think players will sign for you because they want to rub shoulders with famous people occasionally whilst getting lower wages and going to the foodbank to make the difference up? I may be wrong Waggoner but I think the max wage in the league is 4k a week Adam Rooney couple years back Danny Lloyd 3.8k a week not far behind. I honestly don't think Wrexham will go down the route of players turning up for the wrong reasons. I cannot see silly money being branded about. Maybe a decent striker on 2.5k a week possible I don't know

You clearly cannot debate football, 55 just showed a balanced view. It didn't fit your narrative and bingo the insults start It's only a view or debate I didn't mention 55 yet you assume he's the Wrexham fan. Interesting. What you going on about 🤔🤔

A massive chunk of a full time £2m budget that needs to support an entire new staff and pay the old one off. Your academy is now FAW not EFL based and not great compared to what it was. All depends on the manager you bring in I guess. Anyway good lu... aw sod it I can't.

Would it be fair to say that Wrexham have been stuck in the NL for around 15 years because they cannot (or could not) complete with smaller clubs with sugerdaddies who pump hundreds of thousands a season into it, whilst WXM under WST and us at CFC under CFU ownership run within our means.? It would also be fair to say that maybe WXM will have a bigger budget this coming season you will still not be the top wage payers.

I honestly think the answer is They just ain't been good enough Had a couple of chances and not taken them The play off with Newport could have gone either way, but that's football Fan ownership is a short term fix in my view. Money has to come from somewhere The key to me is proper owners who are in it for the right reasons Make the club profitable, make it compete in the division you are in And you have a slice of the cake also

Stockport, Notts County and Chesterfield all definitely in the National League next season after losing in the play-offs. Not going to be easy for Wrexham no matter how much they spend or who they bring in as manager.

The fact it’s all gone quiet on the Wxm manager front, must mean Dave Challinor is near the top of R&R’s most wanted list.

How good of a manager is the Leeds manager Bielsa Kelvin Phillips Liam Cooper Aloski Tyler Roberts 3 years ago they are championship fodder Now in the Euros That guy has turned a team around without spending huge money, finishing 9th in the prem above the likes of Everton and playing football not seen in this country How lazy or pathetic are our coaches This guy is 64

'Wrexham AFC will be heading stateside for the first time this summer, with a friendly lined up against Philadelphia Union on Thursday July 29 at Subaru Park.
As part of the Club’s preparations for the 2021/22 season, the Red Dragons will spend five days at a training camp, including the showpiece fixture.
Philadelphia is the home city of Wrexham co-chairman Rob McElhenney, and it is anticipated he and Ryan Reynolds will be together to watch the team live for the first time.
Wrexham AFC players will also debut the Club’s new away strip for the game in Philadelphia.
In addition to the match, The Union are hosting a community event around the game, which will see Rob McElhenney play an integral part. Several local charities will subsequently benefit from Wrexham AFC’s first visit to the United States.
More details will be released in due course.'

Jesus what are you going to be like if you ever get into The EFL? You might have to relocate the club to the US where there’s enough people to adore you. 🤣🤣🤣

I dont like posting on other clubs forums (not my place) and I'm not here to 'banter' but there is a lot of disinformation on here.
Some of our fans have said different on here but not once have R&R promised the Premier league as our destination in any meaningful statement. They've said that they see League 1 as our aim, which us achievable IMO.
As for what have they done so far in terms of investment? Well quite a lot. There was an initial cash injection that soaked up a lot of the pandemic losses, it also funded a bonus scheme for the players (which they ultimately failed at, obviously) as well as funded the non contract players we had to bring in outside the transfer window (we couldn't sign anyone properly due to our cross border status)
We don't own the ground. The University own the ground (thanks to Hamilton) but the WST negotiated a 99 year lease. R&R sub let it from the WST. I suspect that they will ultimately take over the lease at some point, if not negotiate to buy it from the Uni. There are currently renovations and repairs underway on the existing stands as well as general ground improvements. The new Kop is linked to the Gateway project which will be part funded through the WAG. WAG compulsory purchased a lot of surrounding land last year and architects are currently working on the project.
They are identifying sites for a 22 acre training ground, we have a firm of architects (the same ones who worked on Brentford ground, Millwall ground extension and Chelsea training ground) In the interim they are negotiating with the Welsh FA to use Colliers Park for the first team- something we haven't done since it was asset stripped from us.
R&R are nothing like Terry Smith. Apart from his nationality its not a comparison that holds up under scrutiny.
We did 'sell out' but we had to. Looking at last years finances I'm not sure we could have survived much longer without any gate receipts. The 19/20 season wiped out our 750k cash reserves. The 20/21 season may have finished us off. Fan ownership is great in so many ways but it does put a big ceiling in place funding wise. We have a lot of legacy overheads- stadium costs, no real training ground etc. If the club didn't go under it would have started shrinking at a faster rate. So yes, we did sell out but we also got very very lucky with the people who came forward to buy us.
It might all go wrong. Of course it might, but so far the motivations of R&R seem above board. And no, it isn't just to get a TV show (Rob McElhenny produces the longest running show on American TV, if he wants a show he only has to ask) the Documentary is a way to market the club, particularly in the US. And why? untapped revenue streams. And I see people describing the documentary as being on a small little known station...Disney+?
Weve just announced a preseason tour to the US, first announced game Philadelphia Union. This is all about the untapped American Market. We are about to announce some global brand sponsors. Its all a bit surreal but its happening.
If the roles were reversed we'd be saying all the same stuff so I get it, but I just wanted to put a few untruths to bed. Im someone who appreciates Chester as rivals (I've never rated the Slops on that score) and as such I want both clubs to thrive- I just want us to be doing a little better! It's been a tough couple of seasons for you with Covid but hopefully you have a good 21/22. All the best.

It may all be pie in the sky, and I agree it sounds ludicrous, but maybe we just all think too small. Be interesting to see what happens today if Hartlepool win the play off final. I’d have thought it was nailed on that Challinor has had talks with Wrexham and, let’s face it, he ticks all the boxes if they’re looking for a manager to get them out of the National League. I can see him leaving Hartlepool whatever happens today, which is a shame because unfortunately I can see him getting the goats close next year if he goes there. Personally I’d much rather they got Mark Hughes as manager so he could bring in loads of expensive ex EFL players, all crocks and past their best, who would ultimately fail while blowing the Hollywood sized budget.

Ive said on here many times I’m a big fan of the fan ownership, but it’s seems many clubs now are being bought by investors, I’m thoroughly convinced now that lots more clubs will start going to the wall unless they are properly invested in, either that of scrape by with no real ambition and with very little finance…we as a club really now need someone to come in show real intent to drive our club forward, shake the interest of the city fans up and start getting bums on seats..thus moving us forward…we have to ask ourselves…how many years can we carry on like this with dwindling crowds and substandard opponents…over the next few years football will change massively, more global with untouched markets and bigger prize money..as the saying goes any business that stands still will die..and we have now been very stagnant for quite a few seasons…yes the past shows us that we must choose carefully in the right investors , and we have learnt from that…but one will come along, that I’m sure of…
