Is that Emmanuel Dieseruvwe? No names were given for obvious reasons. Best to keep quiet in case someone else realises he might be available and nicks him. Doubt it was Mani though, as didn't fit the description. The incoming player was also to be a loan signing. Rumoured it was Tom Walker from Stockport?

Maybe he'll not play for them again this weekend and decide he needs to come.

After the signings of Stephenson and others I wouldn’t trust these two managers with any more of our cash. They’ve spaffed hundreds of thousands of pounds of budget money on substandard players. Let them run there contracts down and let the replacement new manager spend wisely.

I'd expect any manager putting together a squad of 18 to 20 players, to have some that don't do well. It's just that we only see our own. Every club will have players like that.

The forward line they have assembled in terms of permanent signings is one of the worst in 40 years. Stephenson, Waring and Marsh Hughes are dreadful.

Yes, getting splinters in his arris there. This makes sense as I think B&J tried to sign him before too. Noticed he wasn’t involved in Stockport FA cup match today despite being allowed 7 subs, so says it all really unless he’s not fit.

Whilst Asante is almost unreplaceable, you'd have thought someone to replace Brad Jackson was more achieveable. We seem to have tripped up there too. With Johnston leaving (as disappointing as he was) we have nobody to carry us up field. Hopefully we will go to York, bladder them and prove us wrong.

Stephenson's the player I worry about most, the missed penalty didnt do him any favours and hes a player i expect more from but hes only played around 5 games and had a injury so be silly to be wanting him gone just yet. Waring is a decent player and generally underrated can get us 10 goals a season however its his hold up play thats most important for us and Marsh Hughes is still breaking into the first team and will be on a low wage he needs to make the step up but he'll need time. remember we had Kevin Rapley and Cortez Belle as our forward line at one point, nothings ever going to be worse than that

Bit harsh on LMH He's young and got alot to learn. It is harsh on him and he deserves more patience, but at the same time he's been on the fringes of the first team for at least three seasons now and isn't a baby at 20. Realistically we need to start seeing signs that he can hold his own at this level.

We do need at least another 2 strikers fingers crossed we get one before Saturday could be a very long day otherwise…

Bit harsh on LMH He's young and got alot to learn. ...... & Waring & Stephenson are experienced. As for LMH point taken he is young but he has still been poor & that's just stating a fact. All 3 have been poor so far.

Still worth the gamble for somewhere in the region of only about a grand. I'll give you Crapley, he was shite!
