Marske United 3-0 South Shields highlights- Some good goals in there but first half especially they concede a lot of chances. Have to have our wits about us but hopefully a game where big George can nod one in

Already quaking about this one. It's got upset written all over it. We just cannot afford to start slowly and let them get on top, which seems to have happened so often in the past against so called inferior teams. We got totally battered at Royston. This site will go into absolute meltdown if we lose. A win could really kick start the season.

They might have a good record but If we can't get a result against them with Glendon and Weeks in the side then there's something seriously wrong.

I can't imagine Glendon and Weeks will be too effective on a pitch like that though. Let's hope Paddy Lacey is back in time... It's a recipe for disaster playing our slow build up football on a pitch like that, especially considering they're going to be pressing high - it's all about picking our moments, we don't need to outrun them, we do need to outwit them. A game where Dudley should thrive on finding the space they leave behind.

Spank it up into the corner flag areas, get the wingers to chase and get crosses into the box. No tiki taka messing about.

Hanley Town v Brackley is the BBCs choice. What an absolute nothing tie that is. Bizarre choices from the Beeb in this competition.

I see Wrexham have got permission for their 4th Qualifying Round FA Cup tie to be played at a neutral venue if necessary, because of re-laying their pitch next week. It would be interesting to see where they'd play it if we get past Marske and draw them away.

Exactly. Won't be pretty, open pitch, wind and rain forecast so it's all about the result.
