Willoughby is long in the game now, he has probably done this countless times. For him this is probably a temp job. If you listen to what players say about clubs and contracts, you'll have an idea how agents work and why players take some deals. Tyrer is young, keen, and willing to impress. He's going back to Everton and then maybe out on loan again or number 2 spot. I wouldn’t be surprised if either of them end up at Tranmere, Tyrer anyway.

Good to see Hall sign for another year. Just what we need if he stays fit

Really glad Cole Hall has re-signed. Think there is loads more to come from him. I would like to see him given a more central role next season, if Willoughby goes. We need a facial point to the attack.

We will still need a new striker or two as I think Cole is more of a link up player than a prolific goal scorer.

Apparently he was due to go to Tranmere last season, but it fell through for some reason, and his agent contacted us. If this is correct, who says agents don't do any good?

Slight surprise that Adam Thomas stays?
Good news though, and hopefully we see a lot more of him next season.

Good news looks like we will have a strong squad again . If we can keep the main core of players together then add a bit more quality up top to replace Kurt then you'd have to say we're going to be even stronger than last season in theory anyway.

We could be stronger generally as the younger players are a year more experienced now, and proven at this level. However, will be really difficult to find as good a keeper, and a 20+ goal striker though. Well probably need two new strikers to replace Kurt. That's probably where the biggest part of our investment in new signings will be spent. Hopefully we'll be a bit luckier with injuries this season too.

I'm actually not sure we need to get so hung up on "replacing Kurt". A 20+ goal striker is nice, but as you say, they're not growing on trees, and there are other ways to do well. When we last won this league, Jarman was our top scorer with 14. Similarly, Kidderminster have just gone up without a prolific striker. I think the main change we need to see next season is a bit more risk-taking at home.

We need pace and width for home games the way we set up makes it easy for teams to sit back and frustrate us at home, away playing on the break has worked out pretty well last season.

Tony Gray as well.

Forgot he was still with us to be honest Guess Callum has seen more in him, or had positive reports back from Flint. Surprised though myself with this one.

Plenty of understandable talk of replacing Willoughby, but has he gone yet? I would have thought that news of a signing by any new Club would have been announced by now. Maybe he is weighing up his options. However one option is playing in front of 2,500 - 3,000 fans all wearing a crown in your honour! I wouldn't be totally surprised to see him being the last of the signing announcements tomorrow afternoon. We shall see. As for a goalkeeper. I'm hoping Stanway signs. Good, very good, prospect.
