Darren Stephenson has signed for Farsley Celtic Good player on his day, though far too inconsistent. Not going to lose sleep over it. I know a few of our fans will be sad as there seemed to be a bit of a love in with him in.

Not in the slightest bit sad to see him go. Turned up when he could be arsed. Won’t last long at Farsley either.

If Cal thinks Zac is ready then that’s ok with me but I do think at 20 it’s time for him to make his mark at this level as I think it would be pointless to loan him out again.

Agree with every signing and release so far. Good sensible business to date.

I do think that Cal renewing Daz’s contract last summer was probably to mainly appease the fans because I don’t think he quite fits the profile and or has the work ethic Cal looks for in a player. It’s frustrating when you see a player like Daz who clearly has talent and ability, but doesn’t seem to have realised his potential.

If we can keep the main core of players together then add a bit more quality up top to replace Kurt then you'd have to say we're going to be even stronger than last season in theory anyway. We could be stronger generally as the younger players are a year more experienced now, and proven at this level. However, will be really difficult to find as good a keeper, and a 20+ goal striker though. Well probably need two new strikers to replace Kurt. That's probably where the biggest part of our investment in new signings will be spent. Hopefully we'll be a bit luckier with injuries this season too. Our keeper was the best we have had for many years. Exudes confidence. Deserves to do well.

Surprised at Brown out of them all - thought there’s space for him and Heywood.
Hope Kenyon stays too, was a rock at centre half next to Matty.
Let’s hope we’re making moves for Whitehouse too, although something tells me he’s NL bound.
And probably Caton too, seen the Kiddy rumours and perfect club and level for him.
If Kurt’s year proved anything, we need to prioritise a goal scorer utilising the budget boost

I’d take Brown over Waters but not an overly crucial position. The key one is getting 1 of Whitehouse or Caton. A little bit ambitious but huge huge players.

I never know whether it actually means anything but on twitter Whitehouse has been liking all the clubs tweets about season tickets & other contract renewals. He looked happy as larry at the awards night last week as well.

Whilst Caton and/or Whitehouse would be great, I hadn't heard of either of them before they joined us. Cal has been brilliant with his loan signings so let's hope there are a few more up his sleeve to supplement a good looking squad

I like Bern and Jonno but they really haven't got much imagination. If your not from a former club they managed you haven't got a look in. Posted with no malice. Partly in humour. But with a grain of truth..

Think it's probably the right decision for Dudley. He's a brilliant footballer and leaves us with a good record, but he's been here for ages and probably feels the need for a change. If you could get him at a consistent 7/10 each week, he'd be playing a few levels above. Good luck to him!
Slightly surprised that Alex Brown didn't get a deal, but he was a borderline call. I am surprised that Adam Thomas got one, given he didn't make the bench for the Brackley game but I think he has something to offer still.

Scouting wasn't their strong point, and nor were tactics, but to be fair to them if we'd had the sort of home record last season that they normally gave us, we'd have been promoted.

I think (definitely hope!) that our home record will be better this season with Glendon back. Was too easy to mark Weeks out of the game or if he had an off day etc and we lacked that creative spark. Glendon will give us another creative outlet which will work a lot better
