So the club have announced on facebook and twitter that letters are being sent out regarding season tickets, and that they are almost set
Why can't the club just announce prices online already?

As one who is happy just paying on the gate, we seem to have any incredible ability to make a crisis out of a drama - figure of speech but you know what I mean!
Good grief, it's not rocket science
P.S As I read it, letters sent out still suggests it's a few more days before anyone can actually purchase so beginning of June looks like the "real" date

Thing is if they've sold 800 at an average of say £200 that's £160000 sitting ganing interest in their coffers while we dilly dally

Not sure how the postage is costing the Club but it's an unnecessary expenditure. I just want notifying of prices, nothing more.

Remember that Facebook Live Q&A back in March with Povey and Maguire? The same Q&A where they mentioned that season ticket details were being sorted and will be announced "soon." That was in MARCH!

Sending out letters what an unneccessary cost when we have social media reminds me of Richard Briers in Ever Decreasing Circles when he insisted on posting his neighbour a card saying he had been picked for the cricket team when he was actually talking to him and then asked him to post back his reply stating if he was available to play pure Farce

When things are 'in the pipeline' you have to be patient. I look forward to receiving this incredible offer in the post that's going to send me running to the ticket office next week to renew. I might get my Wade Joyce fan shirt from the club shop whilst I'm there. McGuire has built this up for 12 months so it best be good....

I make this posting without having yet read the content of the letter or having seen the season ticket offers. However my observation at this point is that not everyone is social media savvy, and conversely we have also had many posts in the past where people have complained that they have not been aware of information posted on the club's social media outputs. There is no one right or wrong way to communicate. As far as cost is concerned, by my simple calculation if a mail shot results in more than 2 people renewing who were having second thoughts, or indeed results in lapsed or new season ticket holders being tempted to make a purchase, then the idea is a success.

Just make the information available to everyone.....on dee, letters, social media, chronicle, carrier pigeon....not hard. Why limit it to a letter to an exclusive club?

Unbelievable that they haven't got on with sorting season tickets out yet. Not even a note on the website to indicate when they will be coming out. Do they want any fans next season???

They have all the information ready to go, why not roll it out to the most eyes possible, as quickly as possible. Sending letters out, on a bank holiday weekend no less, only delays that information getting out. We should be all about making as much money, as quickly as possible. Unless, by avoiding putting it out on social media etc straight away they are trying to avoid the inevitable negative response to whatever it is they put out 🤔

If they dropped prices as a one off to £12 people would complain it wasn't £10.

Why in this day and age of instant media on various platforms, are we resorting to typed out letters? We should have this info out ASAP as it is money in the bank (which we are short of) The new away kit is a let down, so we need money from somewhere.

Why don't you bugger off to the ice hockey forum if you've got nothing but criticism to spout here. You don't need the club anymore, so go and poison the hockey league with your crap
