Might have to change my prediction, because if we’re only playing Kole Hall up front then I’m not expecting many goals. Charlie Caton on the bench is a plus though.

That team hasn't got a winning look about it, unless Okeke is an upgrade.

Guessing it’ll be the same system as last couple of games…
Stanway
Burke Roberts Williams
Okeke Weeks Whitehouse Taylor
Glendon Daly
Hall
Subs: Woodthorpe Heywood Norton Caton Clarke

Honestly don’t know what to predict at all today - it’s our easiest game of the season on paper, but I wouldn’t be surprised by any result (barring an absolute tonking). I’ll be optimistic and go for a 2-1 win, thanks to goals from Weeks and Caton.

It doesn't look hugely threatening up front to start with, but at least the bench seems to offer options, if they are fit.

They are so so poor but do have a goal in them. Just hoping it’s not the first goal of the game.

Our top scorer at it again. 🙄 yet he's the one who gets so much stick I don't understand why Glendon gets it

We must get rid of Glendon he's not good enough. 😂

I think rather than getting stick, he just presents a conundrum as to how we get him, Weeks and Whitehouse in the team together. When it works it's great.

It's probably not best to over-analyse that game, it wasn't great, Bishop's Stortford players are some of the few players I've seen who are less confident than ours, they'll definitely be relegated.
Pleased for Norton to score, he definitely seems to be a confidence player so hopefully he can push on a bit now.
A shout out to their keeper, who took the banter with the Harry Mac well. From what I can tell he gave his gloves away to the crowd?
Okeke more than deserved man of the match, a great debut. Definitely a bit raw, but a good physical presence and was basically a winger in the 2nd half. For those who weren't here, imagine Coates but a foot taller.

Might have to change my prediction, because if we’re only playing Kole Hall up front then I’m not expecting many goals. Charlie Caton on the bench is a plus though. I had us 2-0 with Glendon and Peers scoring. Didn't realise Peers was injured so I'm happy with my prediction. As disappointing as our losses are, at least when we don't lose we win. Draws give such a poor return. The recent wins are the reason we're fourth.

Needed that. Up to 4th. Tuesday will be a good test and might actually suit us better. Need a run in the team for Caton.

That was a shocker of a game in all fairness. Who really cares though. 3 points and on we go. A better side would’ve scored at least one of the two gifts we gave them so still plenty to work on. Good to see Caton back and happy for Norton that he got a goal even though it was an open goal. Onto Chorley now where we will have to be a lot better to compete with them based from the last few games showing

What a performance from Okewe, well deserved mom hopefully can keep playing like that during loan. As said before pleased for Norton to get a goal he has some potential. We look so much better playing on the ground and moving the ball quicker.

The Mac singing tequila after Okeke skinned their defender then Norton bagging a goal. Beautiful last 5 minutes

Draws give such a poor return. The recent wins are the reason we're fourth. I’m in the same boat as you, because I too predicted Tom Peers to score yet he was omitted from our squad 😂. We were the dominant side and played a lot better than we did on Tuesday. Could’ve won by a fair few if it weren’t for our poor finishing in the first-half. Bishop’s Stortford were pretty bad, and you can tell why they are where they are in the table, although they so nearly equalised late on, when they hit the post after a Kevin Roberts error. Christian Norton has been rather dreadful for us thus far, but I’m made up that he finally broke his goal drought, so let’s hope he’ll kick on as that goal clearly meant a lot to him. It was a good and dominant performance from us anyway, this afternoon. Shoutout to Jid Okeke, who was excellent on his debut this afternoon. His first touch was class, he made things happen, while he got really far up the pitch on numerous occasions, which is something our other full-backs haven’t done this season. Offered something different anyway that we’ve clearly missed. Onwards to Tuesday in what will be a very tough game at Chorley. While I think we may be edged out by the home side, these types of games suit us as we’ve fared well against higher opposition so far this campaign, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we were to get something at Victory Park. I’d take a point all day. Great that we’re now up to fourth, but we must build on that…
