This game will favour players with a low centre of gravity and large feet.
I think we will batter them.
Chorley 0 Seals 6 - (Murray, 6)..... he might need to rein in his curly mop mind....

We’re not playing well enough to keep a clean sheet at the moment (I realise we just did! - Stortford really should have had at least one goal though).
Can we create enough to take at least one chance against a good team? Probably.
So I’ll go for a 2-1 loss.
I’m not sure we’ve turned any sort of corner with regards performance although I really hope I’m wrong.

Apologies oh great one. Perhaps I should have been a bit more specific and said we wouldn’t keep a clean sheet against Chorley. Them being somewhat better than the teams we have played of late. I thought that might have been inherent in this being a Chorley match thread.

Keep the faith buddy! Come on Youuuuuu blueeeessss!

Weather isn't that bad...if we were playing Kites down New Brighton waterfront, then maybe postpone that...this is football, or meant to be anyway 😂

A word from Cal ahead of evening's game: "The pitch is absolutely fine - an inspection isn't required & it's all systems go from the club." 💪🏻 For all chesterfc supporters, NO tickets will be available to buy on the gate or ticket booth 👍🏻 Posted 10 mins ago on Chorley's twitter page (Cal being their Groundsman) so all fingers crossed!!

I’d take a draw all day long. Before last weekend I was going to predict a 2-0 defeat, but now we’ve moved up to fourth I reckon we can get something tonight. Chorley have won their last six at home, plus have been very solid and difficult to beat all season, so I’m expecting a tough game at Victory Park like usual. The blustery conditions will definitely have an impact as well. We tend to perform well in these types of games, as our record against sides in and around us has been good so far this campaign. Jid Okeke had a magnificent debut against Bishop’s Stortford, so I can’t wait to see what he can produce this evening, while it was good to see Charlie Caton back in the fold again. It feels like ages since we last played away, so let’s hope our healthy travelling contingent will be awarded with a good display. Looking forward to my fourth trip to Chorley.
Score - Chorley (Sampson) 1-1 Chester FC (Caton).
Attendance - 1,513 (259 Chester FC).

Very different test for Okeke this evening facing one of the best players in the NLN this season in Justin Johnson.
Chorley 1-1 Chester. Caton
311 Blues

This is the type of game we usually get something from. However, not sure the conditions will suit us tonight and Chorley are a better side than those we've been playing recently.
Chorley 3 - 1 Chester. Burke.
