So 2 games in like 8/9 seasons. That’s pretty terrible. Looking into this further…. That Buxton game wasn't even important either. Complete dead rubber as far as we were concerned.

Yeah we rested loads of our best X1, still won 4-0. Then lost to Brackley a week later.

As far as I can tell there has been ten games since we beat them lot 3-2 at home, where the crowd has been about 3k(thereabouts)+. And we’ve either lost or drawn them all. Somewhat skewed with losses to Tranmere and the Scum. But a bit depressing reading nonetheless. (Not to mention some piss poor results in the FA cup). Still, we ain’t in it for the glamour and when the good games come around it makes them all the sweeter.

Wasn’t one of our lowest ever league attendances since reformation an 8-2 win?
I was there that night.

Bromley is the lowest, 754, Tuesday night after we were relegated. We won with a 90th minute goal from Nathan Brown where he ran up the whole pitch himself

Was there for that one, one of the best goals I've seen at The Deva. Turning the big centre halves one way, then the other, putting one on his arse before lofting it over the keeper from 18 yards.

Peers on the bench hopefully means Kurt playing up front in the middle
This has 3 or 4-0 written all over it
I’ll go for 4-0 Burke Willoughby Murray and Muttley from the Wacky races
1825 in attendance

Buxton fan count: currently 13. Attendance: with 20 minutes to ko we are thin on the ground. Hopefully by 7:45pm there will be at least 1850 here.
Match prediction: Time to run riot as Buxton not taken an away point this season. 5-2 to the mighty Blues. Woodthorpe Willoughby Weeks Caton x2

Edging away from ‘Let’s hope we win’ territory and towards ‘We need to win territory’ - and I think we will. These caused us a headache in this game last season, but they’ve changed manager and most players since then, and come into this in poor form.
Chester 1-0 Highland Spring, goal from Willoughby.

Two wins in 12 (one against Barwell and the other against ten man Rushall) and no away points.
We can’t let these jobbers win here.

Not sure what's going on with Turner or Hancox, can't get a kick. Likewise Hunter though he's been quite poor when he's played, I doubt the latter two are happy at warming the bench for us after playing regularly in the league above.
Tonight is a must win for me, feels like we're trying to do the same thing that's brought 0 open play goals in the last 3, and struggled against Stockton.
Hope I'm wrong of course but sounding like we're just praying for Kurt or Caton solo goal rather than creating chances.

There's a Bainbridge shaped hole in midfield, lack of physicality in the middle, they're waltzing through too easily. Most of the game has been our defence and keeper passing it back and forth, this feels scaringly like a game we would have had against the lower table teams last year.

Dire. Huff, puff, pass it sideways, pass it back. Lose the ball and repeat.
We are so boring to watch.
