With Bainbridge out, I can't understand why Kev Roberts wasn't put at the back of the midfield, Hunter could have played rightback.

Might be best forgetting the disabled viewing platform, giving them a better view of this shite could be deemed a form of abuse..

Sounds absolutely obvious to me as well Playing Hancock at left back rather than Burke at Scarborough was also an obvious change. He does make life hard for himself as a manager it seems does Callum.

Dire. Huff, puff, pass it sideways, pass it back. Lose the ball and repeat. We are so boring to watch. We are absolute dog eggs. I agree can’t wait to get home. Does Glendon have some bad information on Cal he plays regardless of how shit he is because Glendon is teachers pet

Really disappointing when you can see teams like Curzon able to get results with 50 fans week in week out.

I came away early. Not well and shouldn't have gone really. Watching that made me worse.

Buxton did everything they could for us to bottle that and it worked Several of their players scuffed the penalty spot. The way their keeper has played, you just knew he'd save it too. He was awful for time wasting and winding up the crowd, but frustratingly for us had a very good game.

Two wins in 12 (one against Barwell and the other against ten man Rushall) and no away points. We can’t let these jobbers win here. Maybe we can then.

In all fairness though, the game was probably lost in the first half. The lack of a defensive mid let them control the first half with ease, then the 2nd half they parked all their players in and around their box, our crosses and long balls were never getting through.

No idea why a badly out of form Willoughby took it anyway when Caton has at least scored a penalty this season and is our leading scorer.

Only we could fuck that up, even with the penalty. Pathetic. We just roll over and let them bully us.

Deja vu for us all. The fact that he’s been club captain for a number of years now really is shameful. The added bonus of Weeks being totally destroyed next to him just adds to it all. The usual arsewipes will tell us we’ve been like 70s Brazil under Cal and that midfield still works despite irrelevant things like results and performances but there really needs to be a rethink. 3 years in and we still don’t have a player outside of the back 4 who can win a header.

2 points from three home games and an FA Cup exit. Its just the same as the back end of last season.
We're repeating the same mistakes week in and week out.

Reverted back to last season. Boring, plodding, predictable nonsense. Seen that type of game so many times, Calum seems to love it though.

Turning in to last season here, boring, not scoring, poor tactics and teams having an easy ride against us. Midfield was dire tonight and a one legged stevie wonder would cross a ball better then anyone in this team

Reverted back to last season. Boring, plodding, predictable nonsense. Seen that type of game so many times, Calum seems to love it though. To be fair the previous season was the same style but the difference is we had an in-form striker carving out all of his own chances with no service whatsoever and scoring nearly 30 goals. Said it many times before, people look at the playoff/third-place season through rose-tinted specs. The football was much the same, the Brackley playoff game was no surprise performance - was how we had played most of that season. Just Willoughby was in good form that’s all.

The football is mind numbing at times.

Not sure that’s totally true. Weeks was superb that season too without captain, leader, legend next to him.
