All I want for Christmas is _----------++++ a NEW MANAGER. Had 3 seasons of this dhite and instead of improving it's getting worse and worse and worse. No tactical skills from CM to change things Sorry but it's time he went. Chester lad or not only one person who can do it is mahon but can't see him leaving Curzon yet although I would think he would jump at the chance Doubt he would. He's a full time job at Wigan's Academy. He does the Curzon job in the evening training sessions. With us having to train in the mornings now, he would be a non starter.

Callum in his post match interview said we played well second half.
We failed to score against a side who before tonight had lost every away game they have played this season. That is worrying how he thinks we played well.

No post match interview yet? Lets hope Cals still got them locked in the dressing room Just watched the post match interview, can’t remember how many times I’ve heard “that’s the worst half since I’ve been at the club” sorry Cal but as a fan I want to hear what you are going to do to turn it round. There are two players that have had virtually no game time but you bring in a winger who is fast but looks anything but a footballer, struggled to control the ball and jumps with his head down. If we are not firmly in the play offs come Christmas then the board have decisions to make. I want Cal to succeed but nothing is changing.

The players play where they are told to and the formation the manager wants. It’s getting worse. If team moral suffers because let’s face it the players get the stick whilst the manager suggests it’s the players, long season ahead methinks

Get Neil Turner back on these post match interviews too. These questions are not probing enough and at least Neil says it how it is. He's still doing them, the club don't use him though for the in-house interview anymore so only appear on Radio Merseyside.

Going back over flash scores (inc last season ) we’ve failed to score in 9 of the last 13 league games at home.
We can point at table positions, still only being late October etc but we’ve been in a rut since January and it’s barely changed. If anything Cal’s doubled down again on the style of play and trusted personnel….

Weeks has been crap for quite a while now yet Glendon gets the stick . Need to drop weeks and play Glendon right up behind the forwards where he will get goals Glendon needs to be left back ....in the dressing room .

It's just depressing really. Shite football, barely any entertainment, cant score, and a manager who sticks to the one plan he has regardless and seems to think that one day it will work. Most fans can see it. Worked on many occasions, are you ok?

Top and bottom is this lies with the players, how many saying they couldn't pick a MOTM, says it all.

First half is as abject as I've seen since the Jon McCarthy days. Horrible team selection and terrible effort and lack of performance. Weeks had an absolute shocker and we'll never get anywhere with Glendon as captain. The goals have dried up too. Concerning times. Glendon and Weeks have been masquerading as footballers since they first signed for the club .The directors give whoever is manager an easy time and the manager treats the players in the same lackadaisical fashion .Until this attitude changes ,Chester will get nowhere (cue Neil hunt )

You find me one person who would want Weeks, Glendon and Murray as a midfield 3 and would think that would work. Failing to score in 11 out of 20 home games in a calendar year is down to one person, the manager.

Give me a midfield three you'd want instead?

That Buxton game wasn't even important either. Complete dead rubber as far as we were concerned. Indeed it was. As far as I can tell there has been ten games since we beat them lot 3-2 at home, where the crowd has been about 3k(thereabouts)+. And we’ve either lost or drawn them all. Somewhat skewed with losses to Tranmere and the Scum. But a bit depressing reading nonetheless. (Not to mention some piss poor results in the FA cup). Still, we ain’t in it for the glamour and when the good games come around it makes them all the sweeter. Reassuring I suppose that we can play shit in front of shit attendances too.

As things stand I can see us getting a tanking ( I hope not ) I hope as a fan owned club the board are asking questions unlike these post match inhouse interviews, bring back Shane and Neil rather than the crap now.

The trouble is everyone at board level is far too pally with Cal .. just coz he's from Blacon cuts him far too much slack. I really hope he can turn it round but everyone knows our midfield is too lightweight and not mobile enough.. and the minimum we need as well is a target man up front .. 5 games to keep the season alive ! Not from blacon 🤡 about 7 miles away
