Frantically refreshing the OWS but nothing yet. Suppose they have to write the statement - I'll give them until 10pm. Surely nothing more needs to be said?

Our League form in 2017 - Played: 28, Won: 5, Drawn: 5, Lost: 18 Extraordinary really So if that was in the same season that's 20 points with 18 games to go and the manager still has a job what a joke

If this situation is allowed to fester any further then serious damage will be done to this club. People will stop attending games. We will get relegated. The board HAVE to put to a stop to this and I fully expect a statement tomorrow relieving his of his duties. I don't want to hear his excuses, it would actually be refreshing if he just came out and said we are poor and the buck stops with him, but I imagine the long trip to Torquay will be mentioned and the the injury to Astles. He has lost the fans who have spoken and are demanding change, it's simply has to happen.

4 wins in 31 games including trophy and senior cup.
Embarrassment, this guy is the worst manager since clowns like Smith and Hill.
I give the board until tomorrow lunchtime to act.

To be honest, the players aren't entirely blameless either. They can do better even within these tactics. Sure we get a raft of the usual bullshit statements in the press saying they are to blame and they will put it right, and the tweets like "not good enough tonight, we go again Saturday" blah blah blah. It's all rubbish.

Unless he quits, then its unlikely we'd see any news for a day or two, as surely the board would have to convene and vote on it.
His position is totally untenable now!

Surely the board have to now do the decent thing for everybody and put him out of his misery. He has lost nearly 70% of games in 2017, which is an absolute disgrace. This was the game he had been hanging onto and look at how it has turned out. I'm fed up of typing the same thing after every 90 minutes. The atmosphere on Saturday, from those that turn up, will be hostile and if he is really a decent bloke, they need to end it now and not put him through it. I wouldn't want to think he was going to have his feelings hurt.

Yep, it's definitely all over now. Hopefully we'll get a 10am announcement and we can approach Ebbsfleet without this sense of impending dread.
Shaw to get the job as caretaker for the game, then hopefully re-take his place in the squad for the season and we can move on and close the door on this dreadful experience.

A fluky ONE point from the 2 bottom teams.
A Torquay fan told me on Saturday we were poor but Solihull were worse.
Clearly NOT.

No way back. He has to go for the good of the Club. We all wanted it to work but it isn't. Not by a long chalk. And as Shane said in that ridiculously dull commentary, 'it's the manner of the defeat'

It's unthinkable to imagine him still being in a job and walking out to the dugout on Saturday. If that happens then there is something really not right behind the scenes. The board are all Chester fans, surely they have had enough and we have to start fresh any any cost.

It's not just Jon though, people graft hard for their money and travel all over the country to support the club.
The players are taking this money and putting in unacceptable performances. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I've just emailed Mark Maguire requesting Jon be relieved of his duties immediately.
Suggest we all do the same, before permanent damage is done to our club.

Fan Owned Club !!!! Really !!!! The fans of OUR club want one thing , act on THEIR wishes and do the right thing for the sake of OUR club and actually listen to OUR voices , you were voted in to look after the club , do what your electorate want and put him and us out of our misery

Of course he isn't going to walk. He will wait to get sacked so his has some severance pay. I would do the same. He has bills to pay like the rest of us.
