After Saturday’s debacle at least we are back in action tomorrow night against an unpredictable Woking side. We haven’t had a good record against them recenty so it is a good chance to break it tomorrow. Hopefully we can. Come On You Blues! Score: Chester FC (James, Hannah) 2-1 Woking Attendance: 1,944 (53 Woking) COYB!

Although they are up the table, their away form is pretty poor. Still be a toughie, but I'm going to say we'll put in another decent home display and win 2-1.

We've lost 7 on the trot to these jammy bastards. We'll finally bury our jinx against them and win 2-1 (Hannah & Akintunde). Unfortunately I can't see 1,500 being breached.

We've got a terrible recent record against Woking. Usually very big, strong and organised. Hopefully the Maidenhead form will continue into this one.

Bad recent record against them, but let's face it we've been pretty rubbish against everyone the last couple of seasons. Shouldn't let it play on our minds. I'll go for a 1-0 win with Mahon scoring.
I kind of see our 5-2 defeat there a couple of seasons ago as a turning point for us. The season before that, we finished 12th and we'd started that season well until we went to Woking, but after that result Burr's team never really recovered and McCarthy just ended up worsening the misery. Maybe this time the result can be the start of better things.

Our record against them is poor full stop, not just since reforming. I think when we were first in the Conference in the early 2000s it took until the fourth season to beat them, when we did the double with Twissy doing the damage. Would hope tomorrow sees us get an overdue win against them.

Interesting matchup considering the difference in the backing of the two clubs - we are a owned by a cooperative, socialist society whilst Woking owner Chris Ingram is a massive Tory donor.
If there's any fixture we should win this season it's this one.

And we certainly don't play in red 😂

Like I said in my original post we've lost 7 on the bounce to Woking since we won there 1-0 with Jamie Menagh's worldie back on a cold November Tuesday night in 2013 (I think). That run includes 4 home losses.

By Diane Abbott's calculations it will only cost us £20,000.00. (and no I'm not a Tory before you say).

Running the risk of making this thread over political - I think Teresa May should be able to bring her's along after the deal she made with the DUP!

Oh wait a minute. . . . I'm fearing a bit of a bounce tonight. We tend to lose against these type of teams. 1-2. Hannah. Crowd of 1555.

No idea on a prediction. Heart says we win but head says maybe a draw... We are due one against these southern ponces though so who knows. Looking forward to getting down there!

As for the match I fear a 2-1 reverse but a decent team effort ,Hannah to score with 1,899 in the congregation with 45 hardy souls from Woking
