Who wants to play Bignot Bingo? Guess the formation and selection. Let's be honest, it's so random you couldn't work it out using logical thought.

I have a feeling we might win today, for some reason. Will go for 2-0.
I don't think we've lost two league games in a row under Bignot, but one thing this team seems truly incapable of is following one good result with another.

Just noticed Orient kick off at 1 pm against Dagenham . . . so we could be nine points adrift when we start. Therefore win essential or it's all over today for me.

Who wants to play Bignot Bingo? Guess the formation and selection. Let's be honest, it's so random you couldn't work it out using logical thought. Who knows what we'll get today, in formation or performance. My first thought was that MB will have a knee jerk reaction to Saturday, and change loads. Not so sure now. He seemed to have decided he doesn't fancy Turnbull or Rowe-Turner or Bell. That limits his changes. The formation has settled as a 5 3 1 1 or 5 3 2. Although it looks like a 7 1 2 at times early in a game. So minimal changes. Is Hannah magically fit enough to start? If so, he should have played Saturday. Surely him and White can manage 90 minutes between them. Mahon maybe on at half time? MB has had loads of injuries to contend with. So there may be understandable excuses for him making changes. However, that stops now. Regardless of injuries a decent manager/coach should be able to set a team up to be difficult to breakdown and be organised. One game in three we aren't, we are a shambles. With the ball we are incapable of moving the ball through midfield to the strikers in space. He's had enough games and times to sort it, or at least improve things. I personally believe we are certs for relegation. All the teams above the bottom four will likely have some money available to strengthen. Guiseley may too. We'll need to improve greatly, or get lucky and hope some teams go bust and get chucked out, for us to stay up. That's not being pessimistic, or being realistic.

Is a draw acceptable? Sorry but I think that’s the best we’re capable of...........
Not for me I’m afraid. MaGuire’s love child is struggling.

Guiseley have taken 6 points out of 33 away from home this season and scored 8 goals.
Surely..........!!!!
Hang on, what am I suggesting, I was there on Saturday!

It would be a lovely Christmas present to see Kingsley James dropped today, he's been absolutely woeful all season - it makes my blood boil watching him.

Alsas, no Christmas present from Marcus to me: Chester team: Hornby, Jones, Astles, Rowe-Turner, Hall-Johnson, Dawson, James, Shaw, Gough, White, Hannah

I am worried we might actually win this and give us false hope followed by a slow lingering death. This bunch may as well put us out of our misery.

Is it still 5-3-2 with Rowe-Turner in central defence? Or 4-4-2 with Gough on the left side of midfield, in which case who's on the right?

Seems like a 5-3-2 to me but talk around ground of 4-4-2. Not sure how this would work out wide as Lobster mentioned. Made the 200 mile round trip for this one and avoided too much festive drinking for the drive so hoping the lads don't send me to the pub after this.

Early set back. Keep the faith guys, let’s go again lads. Sadly I don’t think so. I’m normally upbeat but it’s christmas and for our players this just seems to be an unwelcome break from getting pissed up.
