I'm flying over on Thursday and have planned to take in the two fixtures over the period.
I've decided that I shall not be making the trip to Guiseley.

Nothing is going to change until we get rid of this fan owned shite, yes it was good when we started, but if we want to be competitive and in the future compete to get into the football league then we need some serious financial backing! Micheal Owen did offer when we started up and was turned away, he told me himself, he drinks in my local near Malpas, the duke offered in 1989, offered to invest millions and we wouldn't because we wouldn't wear green? We can't continue like this, we will just fall back down the leagues and go bust once again.

It’s been top top stuff from us since we went down to ten men. Just need to learn we can’t give teams a 2 goal and a man head start. Now is not the time to make inane statements like the above. Not inane sir, simply a statement of fact. The poor start was unacceptable. Anger man.

Chester FC would be a liability. He probably gave you that explanation to be polite.

What a load of rubbish, the Duke was supposed to have offered money if we played in Green, which was subsequently denied by the family it was also 1936 actually,Michael Owen has no interest at all in owning Chester Football club,i don't disagree with you about the fact we need outside investment, otherwise who knows where we will end up.

Bignot isn't inspiring us at the moment but I hate clubs who just sack one manager after another and carry on in the same way in the boardroom. If one manager after another keeps failing it suggests the problem runs deeper than who's in the dugout.
I support an EGM at this time. The club is not learning, not communicating, and has lost its community ethos. We're only embracing the limitations of supporter ownership, none of the possibilities.

That was a shambles and Bignot doesn't come out of it Scott free either. The players looked Confused by the formation and shape of the set up. We actually played better with 10 players when we moved to a more understandable formation. James and white are absolute garbage. Dawson had an absolute mare, as did several others. This lot are killing the club. What was with the big reception for a Mahon cameo? He, like others, are simply taking no the piss out of the club. But my biggest dissapointment is Bignot. Yes he inherited a sack of shit but we're worse now than at any stage under crazy Jon. As bad as it gets that first half an hour today.

We've been badly let down by those we've elected. ^^^^ This. Complete lack of accountability from people who get elected then do f**k all to move the club forward. It's not rocket science is it, EVERY CFU meeting should consist of 5 minutes from EVERY board member staying what they've done since the last meeting and what they're planning on doing until the next meeting. The fact that no one has required then to do this is negligent and is the reason we're going backwards. Despite all of that I am still 100% behind the model and would rather be relegated than see the club in the hands of a private owner.

I know, hence the anger man. I’m just saying we weren’t too bad after that first shocking 30 minutes. Anyways, I don’t want an argument. Heading home now to drown sorrows with a Stilton sandwich and a nice glass of vintage port.

Once a month I have to explain the points on my Action list my Manager, Technical Lead and QA Engineer. Same should apply to our Board.

Potentially an EGM is everything, but I am yet to hear a positive and credible fan plan from anyone, let alone indications that there are named CFU individuals or groups waiting and willing to replace the current ones.

Awful attendance 1600 for a Boxing Day fixture
Truly dreadful atmosphere, made a morgue seem like a rave!
Why?
Because we're resigned to our fate and after conceding early on, we all knew we were never going to come back
Another depressing outing to the Deva!

Just a few points to make on today. James Jones isn't anywhere near ready, he ball watches and chases the ball out of position like a boy at the park, so many times he was dragged all over the place. It's actually not his fault he's playing when he's nowhere near ready it's McCombe for being a disgrace to football. Comparisons though to Sam Hughes are laughable. Dawson is a shambles of a player that would do no more than me over 90 minutes on a pitch, only if show more effort, if also let the game pass me by.
We looked 10x better having 4 at the back, even with ten men. Maybe Guiseley felt it was job done, but still when everyone can see it, why can't MB?
There's a collection of people at the club to blame but I honestly think we're down now, nobody can turn people into footballers sadly.

Cant believe how bad this year has been for us. Last season we were doing well until christmas then it all went downhill. Anyone remember how many points we had this time last year?

Whats the point of shouting for Board resignations or EGMs if there’s no-one better that is ready and willing to replace them? Unless I am missing something there’s no alternatives in the offing (I hope I am wrong but I don’t think so). Nothings going to solve this unless we have a capable and credible replacement Board in the wings ready to put themselves forward and ready to set us up financially to survive in conference north with gates of 1200-1500. So speak now or forever hold your peace 🤞
On the playing side we have a squad of players that we can’t afford to improve next month. We have gone from playing like the away team at home with McC to having no shape or plan at all under Bignot that I can see but with BOTH managers we usually lose and the squad when they play (with one or two exceptions) don’t look like they give a toss.
I think the squad are past the point of playing for any manager and nothing looks like it will motivate them. Let’s face it, we never really got a new manager bounce with Bignot. If that’s the case then I think we have to bite the bullet and should be planning for next season, one league lower. Let’s blood a few more youth team players, let’s formally tell the rest of the squad that we will be in conference north next season - hopefully that will make a few of the players on 2 year contracts start looking elsewhere.
What a pickle we are now in. We are no longer masters of our own destiny and there are no quick fixes to this. I can see sorting out the current problems will take us at least the rest of this season and all of next. And that’s assuming we get cracking now. ...

Asked this a few times. Unless I missed a response can someone tell me how long Bignot's contract is? I heard a rumour that it was 2years but with a break clause he can exercise at the end of this season. I’m not a MB apologist but to be honest I wouldn’t blame him for calling it quits in the next few weeks. I think this squad is beyond hope and short of putting a sniper in the stands with instructions to pick them off if they are not trying, I don’t think this squad is willing and/or able to improve.

It just gets worse and worse and worse doesn’t it. I may as well just copy and paste my match reports every week, as these abysmal performances and outcomes are happening left right and centre all the time. This predicament has got to the point where it is ridiculous, and their is no bouncing back. We are third from bottom and EIGHT points from safety now. Does anyone actually think that we have a glimmer of a chance, let alone staying up? Yet again, it was a display which was heartless, gutless, lacked desire and consisted of the players not even caring. The question is, DO they care? It seems as if they don’t with these ongoing performances which lack desire. Also, I must confess that Bignot isn’t really giving 100% to the cause either. His constant chopping and changing are certainly not helping the squad, which could be why they don’t know what to do. Also it seems as if he has lost the dressing room too which could be part of how the players are showing little heart on the pitch. Now Rowe-Turner will be suspended for a few games, and Ross Hannah will be out for a few weeks by no doubt. As if things were already bad, hey. I dread to think what the score will be on Saturday against Hartlepool, regardless of their off-the-pitch troubles. We are certainly down and out. It really is heartbreaking, for the likes of me, to see this club fall lower and lower every week.

Why wait for him to call it quits in a few weeks? He's done fuck all since he's been here, he can fucking go now and take his useless assistant with him. The quality of the football under him has been worse than it was under McCarthy and any semblance of fight, desire or courage has completely evaporated while he's been in charge. We'll be lucky to avoid finishing rock bottom if he stays .

I really don't know why there is secrecy behind the length of the contract. Its normal practice to announce this after an appointment. I was one who wanted Graham Barrow because he had sound history both in his relations with the club and football experience generally. I don't believe we would have experienced thrashings under his helm. For whatever reason(s) he wasn't appointed and there may have been good ones and one day the reasons will come out. My guess is they were financial ones and contractual details. With his pedigree and experience I don't believe he needed the job but wanted it for all the best reasons, whereas Bignot needed it and may well have offered his services on more agreeable terms to a board concerned about finances. If we go down though those considerations will have been proven to be wrong.
