Paul Carden 5/1 Andy Holden 8/1 Neil Redfern 8/1 Gary Brabin 12/1 Shaun Reid 12/1 Richard Mooney 16/1 Ronnie Moore 16/1 Dean Saunders 20/1 . Out of that list. I would probably choose either Paul Carden or Andy Holden. Holden with his experience of bringing young players through and to intregate our academy playerz into the first team might be worth a shout.l? Providing we can get some stability off the pitch.

What are the odds on Marcus Bignot and Jon McCarthy? Knowing us, it'll be one of the two.

Boring list, same old characters cropping up. Seems we're destined for an ex-player this time. Assuming it means Richard Money not Mooney? If so seems unlikely seeing as though he left Solihull after a month?

A list that doesn't fill anyone with confidence for life in the NLN. Has anyone on the list got success or good experience in the NLN? If that list is anything to go by i'd be happier keeping what we've got! At least he knows the league and how to get out of it on a tight budget. WORDS.

Carden and Reid is the DREAM TICKET for me.
Cards has proven himself to be astute at these levels (top three steps of non league) whilst Reidy would probably drag his bollocks through a thousand miles of broken glass for Chester.

The dream being that we could afford the both of them. Carden for me, but I would of liked an older head alongside him. I thought that may be Neil Young but it wasn't to be.

Not overly enthused by that list, but if that was the choice have to be Paul Carden for me.

I am no Man U fan but you have to respect what they did with the class of 92, you don't win anything with kids/academy players they said, would be great if we could do something like that and have a manager who is fully on board with that approach.

I don't think we can be shocked that it's not an overly inspiring list of candidates. We're not an attractive proposition at the moment and managers will know they'll be working on a tiny budget with unrealistic crowd expectations.
I'd go with Carden. He is young, knows the area and has made a decent fist of it at Warrington. Having said that, they could be in our division next year so whether he'll want to leave that stability behind is another thing.

Serious question. Given our position on and off the field, would any of them WANT the job??

Slashed bollocks don't necessarily make a good manager - what has Reid achieved as a manager? Sod all as far as I'm aware.

Earlier this season definitely but now we’re a shambles we’ll be lucky to attract Barry the bar Manager at this rate,

Kevin Wilkin for me, but as Brackley could be taking our place in this league it is unlikely, even if we could afford him. I don't think it will be a case of ' who we want' but 'who wants us'

It's the same lack of inspiring names we had when we appointed Bignot. At least Graham Barrow isn't being thrown around.....yet! No manager worth their salt would touch us at this moment in time. A club in chaos and with no money. It's okay to be reminiscing about us being an ex-league club etc but at this moment in time we are a shambles. Until we have a structured board, a clear vision and a decent idea of our budget for next season you can forget attracting anyone other than someone in the last chance saloon. Personally I would have kept Bignot and gave him the chance to prove his credentials. Put him against the names on that list and he stacks up very well indeed. How many of them have won the NLN?

Bring back Ken Roberts. No balling or shout omg just had an eye for a player, great tactics and players worked for him.

There should be the air of excitement and anticipation when talking of appointing a new manager at any club That list doesn’t inspire. We still require clarity from our marvellous board regarding our position in terms of financial well being etc. Maybe once clarification is forthcoming re this can we think about a new manager and next season. We can’t just assume we are ok for next season with this lot.

Not left us in a good light and all the social media bickering certainly hasn't helped. Doesn't look good looking from outside in? A bit embarrassed myself.
