Absolutely nothing. But are you not encouraged by the death rate coming Down. It will only go up when you see unreported Street raves in London with 17 police officers injured and police cars smashed up. Only reported on twitter. We seem to be accepting this kind of behaviour as normal. If people used a bit of common sense life would be so much easier.my daughter had her latest update from Welsh government. She can now meet up with family member at social distance. But you know what she won't because she is frightened to death of catching anything. She is panicking because her husband and 20 year old daughter are going back to work next week and 16 year old son wants to meet his girl friend. They have barely left the house since March. How many people did Dominic Cummings infect driving up and down the M1 whilst highly contagious?

That's rather harsh she has been a Chester supporter for 30 years her daughter was the first mascot of the reformed club when we played Trafford. She has been unable to attend games since she had cancer. But still contributes in any way she can.

If this Tory Government had tackled the crisis with anything approaching competence I am certain most people would be feeling a bit more relaxed moving forward.

It's better than fantastic. My eldest daughter had an op recently it had been cancelled because of covid. Fortunately she had the op in the Nuffield so again no complaints from us

I don't think anyone can criticise our wonderful NHS which has always come up trumps whenever me or my Family have ever needed it (not too often thankfully) and yes its the best thing Labour have ever done which is easy to decide as its the only example of the power of socialist endeavour and collective effort which has been any good.

Yesterday's Coronavirus deaths:
Germany - 0 Belgium - 9 Netherlands - 2 Portugal - 3 Switzerland - 2 Austria - 0 Denmark - 0
UK - 152
Another 149 today. Absolutely tragic we have these idiots running things. It could, and should, have been so different.

Council house building? Welfare for those that need it? Which examples have been bad then?

Add to that the Minimum Wage, Good Friday Agreement, Health and Safety at Work Act, National Parks, Open University, etc., etc., the list is very long. If any of the Tory Boys would like to list all the things the Conservatives have done to help ordinary people, it would be most helpful.

Started by David Lloyd George’s Liberal government’s Housing Act of 1919 Welfare for those that need it? Started December 1911 National Insurance Act provides cover against sickness and unemployment Chancellor of the Exchequer David Lloyd George devised a contributory scheme of health insurance for those in employment, which provided payment for medical treatment. Grafted on to the act was a limited plan for unemployment benefit drawn up by Winston Churchill. With this legislation, the Liberals laid the foundations of the Welfare State.
So those 2 examples aren't very good as they were both the brainchild of the Liberals aided by the Conservatives

Strictly speaking, the NHS was proposed by a Tory MP. It was Clemont Attlee's Labour that adopted it though.

As for the National Insurance Act 1911, I believe it only provided limited cover, and then only for wage-earners, not their families or the unemployed. As for Hitler- enthusiast Lloyd-George’s ‘Homes for Heroes’, they never really addressed the housing needs of the poorest and rents were set artificially high to make them exclusive to the upper working class / lower middle class demographic.

A bit of cutting and pasting well yes its easier but the fact still remains that they were not Labour ideas or an example of the power of socialist endeavour and collective effort.

I suspect you can expect a surge in deaths in about 3 weeks time due to peoples absolute stupidity yesterday thousands of people on beaches thousands of Liverpool supporters outside the ground illegal street parties. Doesn't our population have any brains at all restrictions have been relaxed to allow people a bit more freedom they have not been removed and social distancing is still in place. No Government in the world could deal with the idiotic people we have living in this country

There is a link between the behaviour of people and their governments, and both feed off each other. Our people have decided to elect this ridiculous government, and in turn the behaviour of the government (e.g. defending Dominic Cummings' simply inexcusable behaviour) rubs off on the "monkey see, monkey do" elements of our society.

Defending Dominic Cummings was inexcusable and you have to give Starmer his due in dealing with Long-Bailey but that does not give people the green light to behave like absolute idiots. My Dad used to say to me if I put my hand in the fire will you? No is the answer

The most ugly and divisive political tool I've ever known in the UK, and one that's sent the country right back into the dark ages.
