Getting back on topic it appears our ââworld-beatingâ test and trace system is anything but. Is there nothing these Tories canât monumentally mess up? A Coventry resident was sent more than 200 miles to Moffat in Scotland to receive a test for their child, whilst people in Devon are being directed to Swansea, driving past centres in Taunton, Bristol and Cardiff on their six-and-a-half hour round trip, 175 miles in each direction.

Nice quote from Lord Sugar today saying that their is a fine line between people having to furlough and people who are enjoying being furloughed. Yes because people âenjoyâ having less wages to pay their bills with. The bloke is a multi millionaire calling for more austerity measures, cuts to public services and lower wage squeezes to pay for the pandemic. Bloke can eff off.

Admittedly it is a shambles, if that is going on. I've taken several of the tests but these have all been the home testing kits. Very easy to do, send back and get the results

Nice quote from Lord Sugar today saying that their is a fine line between people having to furlough and people who are enjoying being furloughed. People might be "enjoying" being furloughed because the ongoing restrictions and health precautions people are taking make it very difficult for many families to return to the working routine they had before. Those challenges only look likely to increase with the new restrictions announced today. Just watched Matt Hancock on BBC News. What a car crash that man is! Apparently the whole reason people can't get tests is because some people are getting tests when they don't have symptonms (absolute bollocks), and then when asked whether the racing at Doncaster should go ahead today, he said the PM will give a statement on that this evening. Great, the first race is at 1:10!

With 2,500 spectators expected.
Seems we can't call these things off without Boris bumbling his way through a 4pm conference first.

They havenât got a clue have they? As virus cases rise again theyâve slapped a ban on social gatherings of more than six people, apart from at the horses, and still staging trial run crowds at football matches.
The announcement was rushed yesterday in a clear and obvious attempt to distract us from the news that the government are admitting in Parliament that they plan on breaking international law, a move which has led to the resignation of one of their disillusioned legal advisors.
Still, couldâve been worse couldnât it? At least childhood poverty is still high and working peoples wages are still too low to afford life. Country got what it wanted.

All sports including football should be banned, you can't trust players let alone spectators.

The choice at the last election was simple A scruffy p****k that can barely string two coherant sentences together, is a compulsive liar, and is unable to manage, or rather mismanage the country without the support of his obnoxious gimp boy OR A scruffy P***k that looked like he had just spent the night on a park bench, and couldn't be trusted to run a bath let alone the country I voted for the former and got exactly what I expected At least I am still in a job and am coining it in though KERCHING

I'd choose well-intentioned incompetence over calculated malevolence every time.
Or you could vote for someone else, or vote for nobody. I can't think of anything more miserable than voting for something you hate, and getting it!

Currently no tests available at any of the top ten Covid19 hot spots. No walk-in, drive-thru or home tests. Whoâd have imagined out-sourcing such a service to Tory chums at an extortionate cost to the taxpayer would have produced such an outcome? People responsible need to be jailed for this.

I see the Government held an emergency meeting of the Covid-19 Operations committee on Saturday, chaired by Michael Gove, with only one item on the agenda: to exempt hunting and shooting animals from the new lockdown restrictions.
Bet those working class boot-lickers mentioned in the above post are delighted their interests are being looked after.

I assume theyâre all happy paying for their broadband to be sending these emails to their MPs....

I myself have certainly moved from a defender of them, to questioning a lot of things they are currently doing. The mess with this single market bill or whatever it is called is another thing that beggers belief. I stand by my decision to vote for them at the last GE, as reading though the manifestos and listening to them, i still think it was the best thing for me at the time. (call me selfish, but at the end of the day, that is what people look at) I certainly won't be voting for them anytime soon though. It is a shame that there is just no other party at the moment that seem to want to grasp power.

Theyâve done a great job in convincing those people that foreigners are to blame for all their ills. Personally I have more in common with the young family who arrive by dinghy than I do the fat cat who arrives by limousine. I agree with your last point.
