What on earth has MPs expenses got to do with the Complete shambles this Government handled part 1 of this pandemic.

I meant a link to Corbyn fiddling his expenses but I’ll assume you made it up. A bizarre counter argument to a government killing tens of thousands of its people.

just to get back on topic .it's great to have s bit of freedom again .busy day today .ive got some ventilation tiles to fit on the roof then out for lunch with my wife and the best part.an all nighter fishing trip booked definately feeling happier.

Anyway, Boris Johnson needs to stop plagiarising early 2000s nu-metal. Had no idea he spent his spare time watching Kerrang! TV and moshing on floor K1 of the Krazy House.

I've also enjoyed a version of life a bit closer to what I'd call normality, playing sports again and having the odd beer at a pub. Great to see people out and about enjoying themselves again, and it's brilliant for the kids who have a bit more freedom. The Covid numbers have come down so clearly the vaccination programme is going really well - until there is a higher level of the population vaccinated then we're more at risk to other variants coming in and I think we're all expecting a bit of a rise at some point but life had to come back to normal at some point and it's encouraging that the steps taken towards that so far have worked well. How good was it to see fans at the Carabao Cup final yesterday....it really hit home just how sterile watching top flight football has become without fans.

Way to completely miss the point of my post.

Unfortunately I think you're right there. His position has never been tenable, but the British public are so passive about it all and don't seem to believe they deserve any better.

I imagine the words were uttered, the context of which or in reference to what, we will never know. Until a recording or someone who was there comes out and says it is true though, its got to be taken with a pinch of salt. 

Ok fair enough, maybe he said it, maybe he didn’t, but the proof of the pudding is he dithered dawdled and delayed over all three lockdowns allowing the virus to spread through the population (actually the words he used to Holly and Phil at the start of it - herd immunity) and, indeed, bodies piled up in their thousands.

Where was this taken. I see storage racks. Words used as scare tactics rarely have the desired effect. What part of the UK is this?

i think it is what you would expect to see in a pandemic when services are stretched to the limits.but being a civilised country we are unlikely to see bodies piled high in the streets.

Rest assured there’s nothing “civil” about this government.
