I am sure it's been said already a thousand times but did the Hollywood boys mistake Wscum for Chester? Quite a few thousand US tourists know Chester whereas Wscum is as familiar to them as Wisconsin is to a Welsh sheep farmer. I think someone made a big error of judgement and wouldn't admit to it, and now they and the Netflix producers are lumbered with it.

These guys are seriously successful in what they do, but surely they have made a mistake. Even learning the Welsh National anthem will be because the Deva Stadium is in Wales I would have thought. I guess they could ask the 10000 Chester fans would they help out to fill the Racecourse ? Yes, error of judgement, what else can it be? Surely not the 5000 regular fans turning up even when they weren't playing so well, or the potential for a vastly superior stadium for lower league football, or maybe the catchment area potential ? Thinking about it, nah they've made an error, yes an error, thats what it is. |

Just 4 games as caretaker manager at Huddersfield played 4 and lost 4 and 9 goals against. Yep ticks all of the boxes for me. Cheap option and Deffo the sort of manager to turn them into a world force. It all looks silly really. It is clear that it's just a publicity stunt. Makes me wonder if someone wrote to Reynolds to bring his attention to Wrexham and he's thought ''yea that looks like a bit of fun for a while might try that'' I am curious (as i would be if Chester were the club in this position not Wrexham) IF they are serious about making Wxm into a 'world force' then why don't they want to get the best manager they possibly can? Or is it because they have a reputation for sacking managers and people won't want to up sticks move to the area only to get the 'Dog s@@t' their fans give the manager when they lose a match? It's a low level try at football ownership, there is not going to be millions chucked at the club. They are actually doing it the right way TBH (or saying it) Build the inferstructure of the club. Good youth system. Raise community involvement. Raise public awareness. And make the club self funding....like us actually. They have no intention of throwing Millions of their hard earned into a moneypit, the point is to make the club self sufficient. It has been stated that any profit will be reinvested into the club NOT just into the first team. What happens IF there is no profit, what happens if there is losses? I can imagine after just 10 games if they are not pissing that 'tinpot league' as they call it their fickle fans will be screaming for heads to roll..Time will tell. |

Maybe that will change with the CEO from Burton that is coming in, but there seems to be loads of advisors and very few doers.

He also stated ''we are going to sign major international stars, we are going to be in the Championship within 5 years. Our 'Major internationals' were actually Cyprus 'B' internationals, Granada, and other low level 'Stars' He also sacked the manager and appointed himself. The point being...they tell you what your fans want to hear. They say stuff that gets you interested. That pair are not 'soccer people' they are not anything to do with N/wales or WXM it's just a bit of fun for them with very little actual outlay of their own good luck to you.
