I see M People are not happy that their song was used at the Tory party conference today.
Interesting that they would choose a song about breaking up from a toxic relationship that includes the lyrics:
You've done me wrong Your time is up You took a sip from the devil's cup You broke my heart, there's no way back Move right outta here baby Go and pack your bags
Just who do you think you are? Stop acting like some kind of star

To be honest I'm started to find the government quite entertaining now.

And now Sunak's turned out to be a bigger c**t than the lot of them, signing up licenses for new oil fields when we've probably got no more than a decade to radically reverse atmospheric carbon before the planet is on an irreversible journey to becoming uninhabitable.

I often think Cameron was the worst of the lot because he started all this. Austerity, the "fit for work" scheme, the bedroom tax, going after the disabled, all in the name of "reducing the deficit", which last time I checked had gone up by half a trillion pounds and counting. Plus, while he was pro-Remain (and siding with him was one of the most uncomfortable things about voting Remain), the Brexit referendum was his doing, and he made no plans for a Leave vote and sodded off the minute it happened. I detest the likes of Johnson, Braverman, Anderson and many others on a more visceral level but in a way it's the more smooth and professional ones like Cameron and Sunak who you have to look out for.
