It’s almost as if he’d been injured for a year and needed a couple of months (and a bit of leeway) to find his feet...

It wasn’t working at the time, now the manager has found a change in system/positions so it is working. End of the matter. A Devachat member wanted to drop Glendon. It isn't the end of the matter, he scored the winner today. Hope he gets mocked until he no longer posts. Well, Glendon was actually dropped for the game after this at Boston, so the manager agreed. Seems to have done him good as he's been in great form since. Reading this thread there are quite a few opinions that haven't aged well, not just on Glendon. Not sure why some fans' reaction to a sixth win in a row is to look for a fight.

Beat me to it son. Joke some of these on here Not sure why our fans feel the need to trawl through old posts to make some sort of point when we've just won. Bit sad really. No. What’s sad is one of our fans scapegoating our captain for 2 years. So I thought I’d highlight it so he can look at himself and think, wow what an idiot I sounded.

Going slightly off topic I see Heineken are lowering the strength of their Tadcaster John Smiths Smooth Flow from 3.6% to 3.4% due to Vat rules on the strength of beer.
This will save them 23p in tax on every pint. The nice people at Heineken will not be passing this saving on the customer but will be keeping all the extra profit for themselves.
I think this is what is termed as 'shrinkflation"

Saw a manager of Arlo (butter etc) yesterday on the tv with the wonderful news that customers can still buy their products at the same price so not impacting on their weekly shop cost. To ensure this to our customers we've decreased the pack size.
I couldn't go home to my family if I made a statement like that.
But people take megabucks home in salaries for doing that same thing.
Shame on all of you who do this.
All the Alan Bates are after you.
Even a shareholder of Tesla is after Musk for getting £44bn when he didnt have a say.
