They will sell out, but only just. Even if we gave them a bigger allocation it doesn't look like they'd bring more than around 600 based off the slow sales

Appreciate there’s a couple of weeks until the game but poor sales by them to date - I’d of expected them not to even reach general sale.
Get the weekends home game out the way then a huge two week push by the club to sell as many as possible.

Do we flatter Scunthorpe a bit? Never exactly known for huge away followings when they were in the FL. It was great that we took so many there last season but it's almost like we think they're a bigger deal than they do themselves.

Been reading their forum and a lot of fans are totally underwhelmed by the team despite them being top. A few comments expecting us to hammer them!

That being said, they aren't a big club never have been, we give them credit because they have 4 stands and are ex football league, stops there for me, just another under potential club.

Still yet to sell out according to their last Twitter post.
Be interesting to know how we’re getting on and a social media ramp up each day this week.

The Community Trust have sent a mail shot out to local junior grassroots teams with a special offer - £40 for two coaches and up to 16 players, with discounts for additional adults/parents and siblings (aged 12-17).
Hoping to pack out the South stand behind the goal.
Deva gonna be ROCKIN’. Can’t fucking wait.

Here we go. This is where people make out Scunthorpe are a bigger club than they are. They didn’t even sell out last year brought 360 and had 400 odd tickets. Took 400 to Chorley etc In any case why would we want them to have an advantage and give them more tickets? 500 is plenty anyway. Fuck them. We will have 2,500 in and their 500 if they even sell out. 🖐️

That's the consequence of spending years in a pub league like this with village clubs. Whenever a moderate sized club pops up, everyone gets excited.

From the club: 🚗 In advance of this weekend’s fixture, and with a larger crowd anticipated, we would like to remind supporters of car parking arrangements on matchdays.
Parking is available at the Deva Stadium for both home and visiting fans priced £3 per car on a first come, first served basis.
Once the stadium car park is full, street parking is available in the surrounding area, however supporters should adhere with any parking restrictions that may be in force. We are aware several parking fines have been issued at recent fixtures.
We also ask fans to be considerate to our neighbours and their private property – please do not park in any businesses car park unless you are permitted to do so.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Easily over 2000 home fans, no home game last weekend, playing top of the league, I’d expect at least 2400 probably more depending on how many they bring.

Had a look last night at the tkts for sale and the main stand and west stand look pretty full. Can't tell with Harry Mac. Would imagine it'll be a decent crowd

Think we’ll just about or be close to selling 500. Be about right to be honest for a 2hr+ plus trip. Our away crowds have generally been good this year- 750 sold out in 2 hours for S’boro. 400 away to Needham market on a Tuesday night etc. For some reason this one has failed to capture the imagination
Not particularly hopeful of a positive result- not in great form and the football has been bland.

* we actually did sell out the allocation last year, 440 I think in your side stand. 50 or so don’t make it on the day due to all trains being cancelled in the north.

Has surprised many, given your home crowds and being top of the league, that you didn’t sell out quickly and request more. Should be a good game, decent crowd (for us) and a cracking atmosphere.

Like I say, it’s not really caught the imagination for whatever reason, I know a lot were pissed off at our performance away at S’boro and Guisley so haven’t bothered. Still, 400+ is a solid effort and will be more than a good number of league 2 clubs for a similar journey.
I’d be shocked if it’s a decent game from or point of view, looking very light up front and in the middle. Defence/Keeper is our strength so best I think we can hope for is snatching a draw.
Like Jimmy Dean before him our manager isn’t getting the best out of the tools available at the moment

Hopefully we can step up for this game and I'm going for a hard fought 1-1, 3,014
