The PM of Barbados's UN speech is worth a watch.
Need more world leaders like her. Too many war-mongering old men running countries.

Trump talking/rambling about the Democrats - "They want to do things like no more cows, and no windows in buildings, they have some wonderful plans for this country. Honestly, they're crazy."

Every time I hear a Trump quote now I keep thinking "well that must've been taken out of context", but no, it's usually meant exactly as it's printed.
He's just making anything up! Reminds me of when a new kid joined our school and people tried to get him to believe that all the shops in Birkenhead had no floors.

I’d love Trump to get the win tbh. Be a laugh won’t it. Good content.
Can’t be any worse for the world than the genocide maniacs in charge now can it?

He empowers all the worst aspects of American society, and will make life miserable for a lot of people. As a man I don't think he possesses a single quality I respect, so I think you have to ask what kind of message are you sending out if you elect him.

Simply the message that the Dems can’t aid and abet ethnic cleansing and genocide without consequences. Threatening the American public that Trump will get in and the public owe the Dems their vote etc. It can’t get any worse than the current administration.
Hope Trump gets in.
Crowd: “Please stop killing us with your bombs”
Kamala: *inappropriate bizarre laughter* “Quiet, I’m talking”

He's repeatedly said Biden hasn't supported Israel enough, and that Israel is "soft" on Palestine. Plus he moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem, which I don't think any other major country has done.

Trump on expected Israeli military action against Iran -
“They asked him (Biden), ‘What do you think about Iran, would you hit Iran?’ And he goes, ‘As long as they don’t hit the nuclear stuff'.
That’s the thing you want to hit, right? I think he’s got that one wrong, Isn’t that what you’re supposed to hit? I mean, it’s the biggest risk we have, nuclear weapons. When they asked him that question, the answer should have been, hit the nuclear first, and worry about the rest later.”

Exactly. It absolutely can, and will, get worse than the current lot if a bloke who’s worse by every measure, including his stance on Israel, gets back in. Wanting to ‘punish’ the Democrats, or hoping a defeat will ‘teach them a lesson’, doesn’t seem to be all that unpopular a view among many of a left-wing persuasion, and I don’t really understand it - it’s one thing not being keen on Harris, and struggling to get excited about the prospect of her in the White House, but it’s another thing entirely to be actively cheering on Trump. I can’t imagine that those further to the left of the Democrats would hold much sway over his policies! There were a fair few erstwhile Labour voters over here who instead voted Green or independent this time around as a bit of a protest vote against Starmer, but I can’t imagine there were very many who voted Tory, or who would admit to specifically wanting a Tory government over a Labour one.

The tacit support for Trump by some on the Left is more to do with his attitude to Putin and Russia than Israel, although they would never admit it.

There's a philosopher/political analyst called Slavoj Zizek, who comes out with some pretty barmy stuff at times but I find him quite interesting and entertaining. When it was the Trump v Clinton election, he argued that both were terrible candidates, and you should vote Trump as he was the more chaotic and unprofessional of the two. The idea being that it should provoke a reaction from the Democrats, who are meant to be the sensible ones, whereas voting Clinton just encourages them to keep fronting bland right-of-centre career politicians rather than anyone who is going to achieve any progress. However, it feels like we've been there and done that now. If the idea was that having Trump in the White House for a term would kill off the populist right in the US, that's clearly not how it turned out given that there's a very real chance he could get back in again. I think if there is any hope of a move towards progressive politics, it will come from people realising that they have the right parties but the wrong policies and politicians. Labour and the Democrats (to an extent) betray the ideologies they're founded on with the way they carry on today.

Aye and Isntreal have have said it won’t stop their genocide in multiple sovereign states. They want to “settle” whatever they can in the Middle East, and the Western powers will let them.

No come on. It’ll be funny. Trump is an absolute caricature. Great entertainment with his insane ramblings.
On a serious point the Dems blew this big time. All they had to do was not do genocide. Not difficult is it. But they’ll use the result to blame others. There will be no introspection. Liberal narcissism dictates that it must always be someone else’s fault. They’ll scapegoat minorities who didn’t “fall in line”, blame “irrational” voters who voted on “emotion”, blame Russia, blame misogyny - ANYTHING to avoid looking at their own failings.
Not surprised the “lesser of the two evils” mantra didn’t work. Their campaign was so bad that they lost to a guy who was screaming that he’s going to end democracy in the US. All the Dems had to do was not do genocide. How difficult was that.
Palestinians: “Please don’t kill us!”
Harris: “Quiet, I’m speaking.”
Not speaking now is she?

Most Americans couldn’t find Gaza or even Israel on a map, never mind care about it enough to swing their vote. Anyone who thinks otherwise is as deluded as the Democrats.

Alot of Arab-Americans voted for Trump or for Stein, and rightly so. The Dems even brought out Bill Clinton for a final push for votes and how did that pan out? He spent his time on the podium telling Arab-Americans “Isr*el was there first”.
Wow.
Even moving away from that issue, we had Harris saying she’ll improve the economy for working people, grocery prices etc yet she already is (until now) already in power - Americans aren’t that stupid.

According to the last U.S. Census, Arab Americans account for just over 0.6% of the population. Interesting that two of the states with the highest Arab populations that have declared already: New Jersey and Illinois, both voted Harris.

Most people vote for the party they believe can do the best for them. As I have said before I have a large family scattered across the states, we talk regularly so this is how I see it. Arizona, Oklahoma, North dakota, Virginia. These are where my lot live all working class people and all trump supporters, last week my granddaughter married a guy from new jersey, great bloke but deffinately middle class 20 of them came over to UK for the wedding and a great time was had by all, the thing is they mostly hated trump, so is it a class divide between the haves and have not I don't know but it's maybe the reason people vote how they do.
