Just seen today's squad, and note that neither of our two year contracted players even make the bench. Are they injured(yet again), or does Bignot not fancy them? Is this another McCarthy expense for us to resolve?

This is our biggest game of the season IMO and sounds like we're not up for it and getting outplayed by a team in the division below. Doesn't surprise me, I still shudder thinking about Alty completely dominating us in pre season. There is something badly wrong with this team, we struggle with the basics. Bignot will need a miracle to keep us up.

Halls is a joke, he's more of a danger to us. I'd rather Joyce at right back, he's that bad. Waters looks like we've plucked a child from the crowd
Kidderminster are better in every department. Faster, stronger, fitter, sharper, more organized, better on the ball. Embarrassed by this so far

Going to take a while to clear out the STENCH of McCarthy from the club.
This squad is his, he has assembled one of the worst Chester sides I can ever remember, no passion, no commitment, no creativity or desire for the ball at all. If I had the money I'd pay the club to cancel the contracts of over half of that fucking lot and let Bignot make the necessary changes.
If the players can't get up for that second half then they should just fuck off out the club. We needed a performance from them today with that money at stake, and they're just showing what a bottling bunch of wankers they are.

Shows just how deluded Jon McCarthy had become by this pre-season, given that he was continually banging on about the 'character' of the new lads and how they were leaders and would stand up and be counted for.
Like most things McCarthy said post-xmas, it was utter nonsense.

We appear to be to nice. This today is our biggest game of the season and we don't show for the first 45 minutes, an absolute disgrace, same at Southport and Alty the last couple of seasons. |
