After last weeks performance I thought at least we were going in the right direction. Really Let's be honest we never looked like scoring, and if it wasn't for lynch they could have had 3 or 4 I agree, we were never going to score last week but to come away from Tranmere with a point was positive and encouraging.

I flippin' wish our commentators wouldn't sound so excited when Kiddy look like scoring again and then disappointed every time Kiddy miss...

Reality check for anyone who thinks we're automatically safe now MB is in charge. For what it's worth I think he will ten us around but at the minute were a mess.

A good clear out is needed of this rabble of players. Not fit to wear the shirt.

It's gonna be meltdown on here later... it's going to take time for MB to change things but ultimately he doesn't have the right personnel.

We've got to have faith in MB, he's been left a squad bereft of any spirit and one which is completely unbalanced.
Fingers crossed he can ship one or two out, but I can't see anyone wanting any of our dross.

It sound's harsh but what percentage of this small squad do you think are just wage thieves? I go to as many game's as work/cash will allow but the thought of my money going in their pocket's irks me right now.

This must be the worst Chester team in history not a cat in hells chance of of staying in this league unless drastic measures are taken. Im afraid if we get relegated we will never get back

Do I have faith in Bignot?
Yes most definitely.
Do I have faith in this squad to keep us up?
No.
McCarthy has assembled one of the worst Chester sides in living memory and our board and CEO let him do it despite all the shite we had at the back end of last season.
Bignot needs funds to get rid of the shite from this squad and bring in replacements. This is not good enough yet again. Board need to give Bignot the money to turn this around otherwise it's going to be a season of damage limitation

The fact we can't compete with a team in a division below who are only going for a play place settles the fact that we're going down. We need a rebuild in the North.

Good game today - I really enjoyed it. In a tight first half we got caught with a sucker punch. Very unlucky to go in 1-0 downat the interval. In the second half it was good to see us having a bloody good go and totally dominate our lower division opponents. Some great saves from their keeper and some near misses gave us hope. Great battling to the end but then an absolute worldy (you simply cannot defend against those) sealed it. Very unlucky overall and we definitely deserved more. Onwards and upwards then - this bunch of players has real potential.

We need to start bringing in players who are proud to play for Chester. At the moment I don't see that in a lot of the players.

words can't describe how bad that actually was. I have never seen Chester fans react like that, even in the Vaughn era. Andy halls won't feel safe walking around Chester anymore

With our budget, I don't expect us to have the best players in the league. I do however expect a team to be fit, quick, organised and to give 100 % effort in every match. I never saw those requirements under McCarthy and am disappointed that there has been no change under Bignot.

I think I put more effort into my walk to the ground than most of that shower did on the pitch

We are a very poor team and the drop is looking more realistic every game we play.

We're a bottom four National League side and so drawing a mid-table National North side away from home represents a real challenge for us. I can't see Kiddy being poor enough to makes the likes of Halls look like a footballer. No, is the answer. Bignot is embarrassing himself persisting with Sunday League players like Halls. The ultimate blame for this lies beyond the manager and playing staff though.

Interesting post-match interview. Bignot is really impressive, he says we will committing to a full-time training programme from Monday.
When asked whether all the players can do that, he replied "They'll have to, they're well-paid and we'll be training full-time". He's furious, but says that we need to be a full time club, or else there'll always be excuses.

If you can't get up for a game like Tranmere don't bother coming in for training. Obviously it didn't matter this week.
