The first of two very important home games tomorrow against mid-table Boreham Wood. After last weeks abysmal showing we can’t perform any worse. The players need to provide a massive reaction in front of us supporters to boost their confidence. With a couple of new loan signings, hopefully they can deliver. Come On You Blues! Score: Chester FC (Zanzala, Akintunde) 2-1 Boreham Wood Attendance: 1,818 (50 Boreham Wood) COYB!

I reckon a 1-1 draw with Dawson scoring a screamer. 1,512 in attendance

Can't see us winning this. Andrade is being watched by Championship clubs and will almost certainly score. We on the other hand haven't scored in last 3 games. Chester 1 Borehamwood 3. Only 1,428 in attendance.

Players reaction to last Saturday will be key, hopefully MB has got their minds right
Going for 2-1 win, would like to see Akintunde get one for his confidence and reward for his efforts
Attendance, I think, will be low. Last Saturday + lousy weather forecast + all of Boreham Stiff fitting into a Mini will suggest a crowd of about 1500.

It's seemed a long week and we've all been stewing on that Kidderminster defeat for the last few days. Time to put it behind us now and focus on what has actually been an improvement in league results and performances since Bignot arrived.
As I mentioned on the thread about worst ever performances, there have been times when we've followed up an excruciating showing with a good win. I'm going for a sloggy and slightly fortuitous 2-1 win with Dawson and Zanzala getting our goals.

The next three games will tell us a lot about how MB is going to o about improving things. It will also tell us a lot about how the crowd will react to those performances.
There's stormy weather forecast for tomorrow. Gusts of up to 50-60 mph. That's not going to to help the game, or attendance, at all. I'd be pleasantly surprised if we won.
Five points would be a great return from the three games, given normal performance this season.

From memory we have a terrible record against these, and I can't see there being much more than 1,500 for this one. Looking forward to the beef stew, mash and dumplings in the Blues Bar before kick off though!

One way or another it's an away win. I'll be there in support but I've completely lost faith in this squad.

I doubt if we will get 1500 tomorrow. There has to be a positive reaction by the players and that is as important as the result. If we lose but give it a go then I won't complain, if we lose like last week then we need a miracle worker

Here's hoping for a win. Certainly can't criticise MB for responding to last week's cup exit and poor league showing. I'm impressed by his proactive approach

We've got a terrible record against pretty much everyone who we've only played in the last couple of season. I think it's drawn three, lost one, which is actually probably one of our better head-to-head showings of the Burr/McCarthy era.

I really feel that we are going to win tomorrow.
Two loan players to add a bit of pace, the slackers to up their game after getting a rollicking from MB and a weeks preparation all comes together.
I also think that the likes of James and Astles will be really upset with the performance and the criticism from last week, and will be giving everything to turn it round.
What we have to do as fans is get behind them and not get on their backs, especially if we boringwood score first

Babyliss Bignot has got the lads up for tomorrow and they know that only 110% will do.
Andy Halls will be making overweight Carol from Wythenshawe run around the local park whilst pretending to be a P.T. and charging her £20 for the privilege rather than give another disasterous performance in the blue and white shirt so that's another plus.
I expect a hard fought win with goals from Akintunde and Astles. 2 - 0 Chester.

Need a serious response, Blues to win 2-0 in awful weather in front of 1,540. Agree with the awful weather Southern, gate will be close but scoreline, really don't have any faith or confidence to predict a home win. Hope for the best and will be there!

If the weather is like it is down here it's probably going to be called off you can hardly stand up down here and if it is on it certainly would be a lottery. 2-1 to the Blues hopefully

Rio - I'm not surer whether it is blind optimism, or sheer naivety that makes you predict a Chester win for every single game! I'm guessing it's your passion for the club so fair enough.
However I have no confidence in us winning any games at the moment. Yes, there should be a reaction from last week, but let's not forget that we are crap in general, and so utterly useless last week that even we were surprised we could be that bad!
1-1 draw is the most likely result for me. But desperately hoping we get the three points - we don't half need them.

Can't get there today. Hemmed in at home by gale force winds up in the Snowdonia hills. If these winds hit the Deva to any degree then the game will be a lottery. We are owed a bit of luck so maybe a a 2-1 win??? Here's hoping....

Awful weather, so around 1,500 tops. Not sure about a score, but we just need a reaction to last week. Defeat today will mean a worse gate again on Tuesday.
