Just noticed that Hunt started for Mansfield today. Should have kept him.

Barrow now level at Ebbsfleet. If they sneak a win there the table will look grim.

Just noticed that Hunt started for Mansfield today. Should have kept him. He's started most games since his injury, if not all games since being fit to play.

Must be some sort of DC record inasmuch as we actually scored a goal that was not mentioned in this match thread.
And here's me thinking we got beat 0-2 !

Yep and it would be nice to see those responsible to stand up and show some accoutability for the avoidable mess we've brought on ourselves

Sadly we've been doomed since Burr was sacked and McCarthy kept on . Totally downhill since that point. Myself and numerous others have been chastised and ridiculed for expressing major concerns ever since. Not once has any board member offered any apology. I feel totally gutted over what has happened these past two years, with all actions by the board always far too late. What a complete waste of what was a great opportunity, when we had a healthy bank balance and a positive fan base. The fan model has been a great way of creating a Phoenix club, but success and potential has died since getting into the National League.

Better than the Kidderminster "performance" but that doesn't say much
Some effort second half, but we can't do the basics. Both goals were really poor. Why are we so bad at throwins?

You have to expect to lose when you've got crap like White, Dawson, McCombe and Chappel starting. Joke players.
Dawson found a BW shirt every time he passed. Absolute crap player.
Did Chappel pay 18 pound today to spectate?
White couldn't trap a bag of cement. The shot that cleared the terrace summed him up.

We have been doomed since those entrusted with running our club allowed JM to stay on over the summer and sign up bang average players on 2 year contracts - with additional sweeteners to throw into the equation. Too many experienced players who aren't willing to dig in and compete - Rowe-Turner, White, Hannah, McCombe.....the list goes on. The lackadaisical, sentimental culture has stained our football club for 3 seasons and MB is now left dealing with the remnants. We are desperately crying out for width and pace first and foremost. MB has quite clearly seen more than enough of some of JM's superstars but what does he do?

Said it for ages Lucas Dawson is terrible. Can not believe people rated him. He was just a poor player playing with even worse players. Can’t velieve Chapell started, I know we need a wide player but Jesus would rather play Mitchell on the wing over him. Disgrace to his profession he is. I left before our goal, couldn’t bear to watch it any longer. Worst chester team I’ve seen in a long time. Feel or Bignot inheriting that shower.

Rowe-Turner, Dawson, Chappell, White...with the likes of them in your side stealing a wage what hope do you have? Against Maidenhead, Rowe Turner bombing up the wing, pinging in crosses in a Man of the Match performance. Great team performance, a new era had started. How come the wheels came off again so fast?

I got slated by 3-4 posters after the first win with MB in charge for saying Dawson was sh*te, well id like to hear someone defend him today that went to watch the game. He isn't even that young! He's slow on the ball, wants all day to play a worldy pass so that a ew people can say what a brilliant passer of the ball he is. As for Chappell, surely he could be sacked by now for his inability to do his job? I know I would be at work.
First ten, we played okay, then it went to pot. Turnbull improved things slightly as did Bell but it was al too little too late by the time we got one back. Astles is overweight too, lack of pace at the back and we're getting found out. I'd be desperately looking for a CB if I was Bignot. Those two don't compliment eachother.

Really think we’re going down It is a problem for us atm but they dont give a crap as they'll be off screwing other team's fan's out of their hard earned cash next year. Yknow in training teams split into shirts v skins,do you think our's split into donkeys v mercenaries? It's hard to support fraud's.

Two new signings could be in the squad for Tuesday night says Bignot in his post match press conference. Let's hope it's a winger and a defender.

And right on cue Rio turns up!!!! No fault of mine mate and I even arrived more than an hour before kick-off. Everyone got told to go behind the goal ‘’just because it was spitting’’, then as soon as the game started the ball kept on going where I usually sit. I was even more frustrated and embarrassed as you because the players had to keep running for the ball and even the 4th official had to step in. Eventually the steward had the common sense to ask 2 of us to go near the top where the ball kept on going out of play. I was annoyed though as I like to be on the go all the time instead of sitting behind the goal doing nothing. I’ve ballboyed in worse conditions, such as Barrow at home last year.
