You from Rock Ferry then Durdy? I'll have a rock attached to me and thrown from a ferry if that Jones crook gets wind of me đ
You've not been knighted yet?

Happy with the detailed insight given in AM's explanation to Dave Powell. So your happy with a bloke who was put on the Board for his expertise in HR to come out with a statement saying "due diligence must be done to a 'greater extent'? I find the statement an insult to be honest. He's failed in his skillset and if it wasn't just him who was doing the due diligence then there's other people on the Board who are failing. and if ya man Durdy can do a quick search on SJ then why can't the Board, after all they did have about a month to do it.

I am happy with the timeline of events detailed in AM's explanation. It's fairly normal employment practice as has been pointed out elsewhere in this thread. No scapegoat here.

Is it just me who wishes we had a board full of Banksyâs. Weâd truly have the club we all deserve then.

I think, to be fair, that his skill set has maybe been over sold by the Club? He keeps being billed as being "an expert in HR" when quite possibly he may just work for a company in their HR department. To be an expert in HR, to me, means holding a very Senior Position in a major company. I've no idea if this is the case or not but it doesn't feel that way when I've seen him at CFU meetings.

Ladies and gentlemen, it looks like we have a new scapegoat until the next problem arises...

Ladies and gentlemen, it looks like we have a new scapegoat until the next problem arises... Yes, itâs awful really. People donât know the ins and outs of the situation, theyâve just attached blame to one person. Sooner or later, everyone on the board will think âsod it, I donât need thisâ.

People really do need to have a think about what they are saying on here. Yes, it was an almighty F-up and another embarrassment in a long history of Chester Football Club shambles, but these guys are volunteers and they are very, very thin on the ground. Iâll admit it, thereâs not a chance that Iâd do what they do. Itâs just not worth the mither what so ever. Iâm happy to clear snow and paint walls but thereâs no way Iâd set myself up for the grief that comes with sitting on that board.

Sad to see the glee in which some are sticking the knife into board members. They are volunteers who put a lot of their spare time into running the football club we all support. They made a mistake, they rectified the mistake.
To me it is more indicative that they need help. They have come out and asked for help, so instead of offering lets make things worse by slagging them off on a public forum shall we?
If we don't start looking forwards instead of constantly back we will not have a club in 12 months.
