Anyone can make a mistake but hey when you do hold your hand up and say sorry. It would go down better rather than trying to justify it Are you talking about Gove or one of us? Good question

Hard not to conclude the UK government risked tens of thousands of Britons' lives by delaying PPE contracts while it secretly rigged tenders to make sure business pals poorly positioned to handle them would win. More than corruption. Murder.

So now we know why there is a difference in daily deaths in hospital and deaths reported. Apparently nobody can recover from covid. Anyone tested as positive yet recovers can die much later fom anything even car accident, it is then reported as a covid related death. This is why the p h e figures vary substantially from day to day. Eg 6th July 16 new deaths reported but the following day 152 were reported.

Yes 19 died yesterday yet 66 was reported figure, the rest being from previous days. It's been this from the start, but obviously this does not suit some people's agenda so they just sensationalise.

The 19 who were reported as dying yesterday all had underlying causes as well according to NHS England reports.

Bit odd that certain people appear to be gloating that the death rate is falling, as if we don't want to hear that!
People are just concerned. The government's handling of it has been awful, and it's not before time that things are starting to move in the right direction.

Yet no mention of the Health Secretary making up the date of lockdown, trying to change history by saying we locked down on the 16th March when it was actually a week later (against scientists’ advice) and resulted in tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths. Then again it doesn’t suit yours, Wortley’s and Delamere’s agenda...

Pretty alarming when you see on the news all the countries that are experiencing surges. It's quite clear that this virus isn't going away, and it's only a matter of time before that second wave hits us like it seems to be doing everywhere else. I guess we are better equipped for it now, but I fear life will not be as it was for a long time, if ever during our lifetimes unless a vaccination is produced.

I don't doubt for a minute that you have read the article I have posted about as I have seen your clenched fist on your twitter posts. No doubt like me you have never seen recovery data. It appears with the way deaths are counted nobody ever recovers and never will. By the way you don't own caring

Then again it doesn’t suit yours, Wortley’s and Delamere’s agenda... Yep, you can see that from this thread, which was started on March 23 when lockdown was announced.
You can see from the below two links how differently us and Ireland reacted on March 12.
They were shutting down schools, pubs and restricting mass gatherings. We were gently advising over-70s not to go on cruises. I said on a thread on here that sure one or the other of the two countries is getting it drastically wrong, and I'm not surprised it's turned out to have been us.
If the Premier League hadn't intervened, a Merseyside derby and Spurs v Man Utd would have taken place that weekend under government advice. It doesn't bear thinking about and they're very lucky the leagues took decisive action.

Not disputing when the thread was started and maybe different in Wales on the 17th of march my grand daughter who was shielding moved in with us for 12 weeks as her mum works in care home. My middle daughter also started shielding soon after and still has not been out kids and husband as well. We actually walked the leet at loggerheads on the 19th according to my Facebook post last photo before lockdown but maybe Wales is different. My daughter works in a private ran care home was never short of ppe refused all hospital transfers, not one case of covid and she gets tested weekly. Pity others didn't do the same. Yes I have jusr edited the post as I put down April in error

For the last time, that's not good enough.
Our approach contradicted advice from WHO, many of our own scientists, and went against what almost every other country was doing.

So is foresight. And also basic competence. Strange that no-one on here said lockdown was too late at the start of this thread Yes, and of course it’s a handful of posters on a non-League football club’s unofficial internet message board who are guiding the Government. Shame on us. However if you look at the Locked Covid-19 / Coronavirus Contingency Thread below there are many voices (alancfc and others) calling for a lockdown in the first week in March. A full fortnight before the Tory clowns got around to it.

So is foresight. And also basic competence. Strange that no-one on here said lockdown was too late at the start of this thread On this now locked thread, several of us questioned the government's response on March 12th. deva-chat.com/thread/4454/covid-19-coronavirus-contingency-thread?page=3Regarding this thread, it was originally set up to be non-political. I tried to be relatively a-political at first, but it quickly became obvious that the Tories were handling things awfully and dishonestly, with the Cummings incident in particular the biggest two fingers up at the public I've ever known.

Also, he revised his opinion when considering advice from scientists and WHO. The government didn't.

And upsidedown believed 9 million Londoners live in an area the size of Blacon, but I’m pretty sure (but not entirely certain) he’s revised his opinion since then.
