Lloyd and Vassell have both been disappointing in the run in.
The thought of another season of Hudson fills me with dread. What does MCarthy think is going to change if we keep the worst players?

...and bring back Steve Burr as a striker to replace Alabi- probably get more headers! Sorry to be flippant, but this news is surely a joke. Even an idiot wouldn't be so ignorant of the whole 2017 fiasco as to consider the players mentioned. Any of AFC Fylde's cast-offs would be better, and at least they know the Conference North, which is where we're heading.

Hunt is a surprise. Maybe a case of wanting to leave rather than not being offered a contract.
Would have kept Durrell probably. Frustrating player, but can score goals out of nothing.
Strange that we would release Hudson, when a few weeks ago McCarthy was saying he was his best signing.
Don't get how we can keep Luke George. That guy contributes nothing.

Happy with that not one of them six are of worthy of a new deal, poss exceptions Durrell, Hunt just slightly passed it now. New faces and fresh start the more the merrier!

It is at least a sign that we're planning changes. Disappointed to see Hunt on the list, and there were one or two I was hoping to see on the list that aren't, but at least it's change.

Surprised at Hunt. Unless as commented he's chosen to leave but that's not the way I read it, as it states Alabi and Hughes offered new contracts but turned them down, but Hunt released.
Durrell going and Chappell staying is more of a surprise. Maybe a new signing this week as well.
