No idea why we're getting involved in Yemen. Don't have to follow the US into every war

Can only vote for the party that closest aligns to my beliefs and politics and that’s now the Greens. The days of people saying “if you don’t vote Labour you’ll get Tory” are over, it’s a laughable statement to make when there is literally nothing beteeen the two and, in fact, Labour are talking in more callous tones than the Tories when it comes to the sick and disabled and privatised NHS etc. Be interested to know your position on the West arming Ukraine.

Over half of buildings in Gaza damaged or destroyed, and at least 1% of the population killed.
Just don't see how it's a proportionate response. Seems as bad as what Russia's doing in Ukraine to me, if not worse

www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-68238090Bizarre how many pledges Labour are backtracking on. You'd at least expect them to wait until they're in power. A real shame that green pledges seem expendable and are probably more of a vote loser than a vote winner, but terrible timing to announce it on the same day as the 1.5C warming targets have been announced to have failed miserably. Nearly as tone-deaf as Sunak making jokes about trans women at PMQs when he knew Brianna Ghey's mother was in the building.

The 2 major parties are so full of shit it's difficult to see where we are heading as for green policies being expendable at the moment I think they are unaffordable because solution finding is making a few people very rich not just in this country but worldwide. I don't know what the answer is though but we need to find one for future generations

The focus should probably be on disaster preparation rather than prevention, although the two aren't mutually exclusive.

I'm too old to be an active environmentalist but I do as much as I can by recycling minimalising energy use (I have solar panels) etc but I'm a firm believer in prevention is better than cure probably from being a retired Safety Consultant

I honestly don't think Liz Truss has any political views. She just swans about simpering to any crowd that will listen to her. She's probably realised that feeding the American far-right is the easiest gig going.
